Great find after lots of browsing. This formulation of natural ingredients was just what I was looking for as cream or ointment. I got hemorrhoids recently and initially did not know if internal, external, or both and with fissures. This ointment provides relief on application and continues to work...It was getting worse with waiting. After trying regular OTC stuff, there are limited items on the shelf there. I did find some things online. Mainly, it is important to use both internal and external treatment to make this effective and faster. Internally I started with suppositories, both prepH and anusol. Then started with sitz baths, wipes with with hazel. Using vaseline, etc. As for diet, more water, more fiber, softer foods, etc.I have been using prepH suppositories, followed by anusol suppositories (has zinc, bismuth), and then using this musk ointment before and after for external treatment. Overnight it helped and it was a better next-day. Have been using this several times a day as calamine does absorb/dry up over time. Though calamine is zinc oxide, it has different properties. It works well as an astringent. Soaking/wipes with witch hazel is another key part of the process. So the combination of that for cleaning, preparation with hazel astringent or vasoconstrictor (prepH), and then applying this ointment is very effective throughout the day. And after emptying, go with the suppositories or try this ointment with the provided long applicator. This ointment is easy to apply. Now the color and smell is expected.... Pink color is due to the ferrous content in calamine and the smell is of camphor (minor ingredients list). Note that the ointment will get on the underwear. This can be controlled several ways: stick on a panty liner on on underwear. put a small tissue between cheeks, or try wiping.This ointment can play an important role in controlling the situation. Happy that these ingredients are available as a formulation. The 3 smaller tubes is very helpful as we can keep one for on-the-go as well. This specific ointment will also work for burns, and ivy (if needed). It is very functional, practical, and with known natural ingredients. As a bonus, the fact sheet and instructions includes English. I look forward to faster successful healing. This is good value for the money.

Okay, I read nearly all of the reviews. I have an office job and am sitting most of the time. I do have a sit/stand desk, but after a while, standing hurts my back, so we're back to sitting and that's where the problem started. I developed a...well, you know. It got to the point where it hurt a bit to sit. I used the OTC stuff. No real relief. I was so worried that I may have to go to the doctor, but WHO ON EARTH wants to go, "Hey Doc, can you take a look at this?!" Ew. So, I thought I'd keep looking and I found this item, Mayinglong Musk Hemorrhoids Ointment. The reviews RAVED about it, some complained about a smell, some said it did nothing. There was one review in particular: RobbieBeast...they were detailed on how they used it. I decided to give it a shot. They arrived on 4/19 Saturday. I immediately opened a tube and followed the instructions Robbiebeast detailed. INSTANT RELIEF!!! INSTANT!! Did I mention the relief was INSTANT?!!! I could sit with ease and no pain and the cooling feel is...beyond! It is Monday, 4/21. No, they are not gone...yet, but they are tolerable for the most part. I am back at work and sitting again, but I am taking more breaks and standing up more and I feel confident that given a bit more time, they will be a faint memory. I will update on this in a week or so, (and I never update.) Are there instructions? Yes, but everything is in Chinese, so just go with what you know on this. As for the smell...*eye roll*...1. If you've ever used BenGay, Icy/Hot, Tiger Balm, or any other menthol type balm...it's nothing more than that. It does not bother me at all. It most certainly DOES NOT linger in the air, you can't smell it on a person (like you can with BenGay), it's not super strong. Maybe others got bad tubes?? There's way too much drama over the "smell". Don't fall for it. It's not a big deal. It is pink. It doesn't stain anything for me, so I am not sure how/why some are complaining that it stains clothing? Bottom line: TOTALLY WORTH IT so far and if nothing more, the pain relief is worth the price of admission on this one! Get it!!!

I had my first hemorrhoid recently, probably from lifting a little too heavy at the gym.Size was about the equivalent of a fresh pencil head eraser, not sure if that's small or big as far as hemorrhoids go. Didn't have any pain luckily.I purchased prepH and used often for 2 week with no noticeable change, purchased forces of nature hemorrhoid ointment and still no real change.Now we are about a month in, after more research(reddit rabbit hole) i purchased this, while waiting for it to arrive my wife got me tucks hemorrhoid pads and cream. I've been using both and I think they both helped together.As many have mentioned, the smell. It's bad, icy hot I can deal with, this is icy hot and a can of tuna, it's what I'd imagine the inside of a prosthetic leg, left in a porta potty smells like. Because of this i only applied before bed with a rubber glove, wish I used the glove for the first application. Definitely feel heat 30 secs after applying. Not sure of the ingredients, ground rhino horns, ghost pepper and menthol? It will probably burns off any hair around that area, so that could be a plus for some. Used both for 2 weeks and while still there, it's now small enough that I can't exactly find it right away to apply. I'd recommend using this and the tucks combo. Also took rutin, it helps with veins, especially those associated with hemorrhoid. Maybe only one of those 3 worked but I used all together and happy with the results.EDIT- Using this combo, took 3 weeks to be completely gone.
