"On-Off" Switch Replaced With Button That Must Be Held Down To Stop Water Flow
Unlike the original handle, the on-off switch has been replaced with a button that must be held down to stop the flow of water. Not ideal. Otherwise, straightforward installation and appears to be watertight, so we'll live with it - for now.

My fault! I ordered the wrong one.
I was in a hurry and thought this hand unit looked like the one for my Classic WP-72. But there are tiny design differences. The new hand unit fits perfectly onto the bottom of my Classic, but the flosser tips won't fit into the handle. I'm not sending it back because it was my fault and I will order the correct model - it appears Amazon doesn't carry it and I will need to order directly from Waterpik. I'd like to take the opportunity to praise the Classic WP-72 though. I have just ordered a 2nd one because for the last 2 years I have daily packed mine back and forth from my Mom's house where I am one of 2 round-the-clock caregivers. Its PSI was much better than the newer model I had previously owned which only lasted 1 year before the pressure in the pump cut in half and suddenly a tank which normally lasted 2 minutes started dragging out for a full 4 minutes. Also the Classic 72 tank holds a full quart of warm water and at top pressure, which is what I use, a tank lasts 3 minutes, which is long enough for me to get each tooth clean without having to refill.Edit December 26: OK, I learned something! The jet flosser tips for the old Classic model have a hexagonal shape at the bottom where they insert into the hand unit. Apparently all the new models of waterpik use a smooth round end. Well, being a packrat, I went to the basement and found the round ends I had saved when the pump on my newer model had failed. Bingo! They fit into the hand unit perfectly. No need to order tips.

Falls too far short of OEM to be fit for purpose.
Works with less nozzle pressure, but it's not equivalent to the OEM. It's Oval and does fit the round holder on my Waterpik. Not a deal breaker for a less expensive replacement. The annoying thing is the button isn't an on off switch for water flow. It's Press to stop flow and hold to keep flow off. If you aren't holding the button in, it's on. On is the default state. Not fatal but annoying when you discover this operational difference by turning it on and discovering "Off" doesn't actually exist. The mechanism to change nozzles works but for lack of a better word it doesn't have the crisp operation of OEM.It didn't come with replacement screws. Which is fine. The old ones work and it's less waste. It did come with an identical looking filter to replace the OEM filter. Which is good. The deal breaker is that I'm getting less pressure out of the nozzle than OEM so I'm not at all sure my Waterpik is doing the job it's supposed to be doing with this replacement. If the pressure was the same I'd rate this a 2 but keep it. I'll replace it with an OEM one.My rating scale used here.5* - Better than OEM4* - Equal to OEM3* - Works but not the same quality as OEM2* - Serviceable with some help. (The on/off function)1* - Doesn't work for it's purpose. (Pressure too low).

It works perfectly
And is easy to install with only a screw driver. The fact that the pause switch on the handle is the same as the original is important. A pause switch which requires you to press and hold is potentially dangerous and means you need two able hands to operate the flosser.

Fits well, but leaks when tilt
The original one that came with mine broke so I bought this. Overall it fits well, be sure to store it upright because it can leak if the tip of this tool is pointed sideways or downward, even when the waterpik is turned off
