I have a young, high energy pitbull. It takes a 2hr walk and 20 min bike ride every single day just to make her manageable throughout the day. And when I’m unable to be consistent with our routine I use quiet moment treats and a raw hide bone to occupy her. I usually buy my large raw hide bones in store but this time I used Amazon and could not be more pleased. Usually she finishes her bones in less than 3 hours, but it’s been almost an hour and she’s still working on the first end of her bone. I bought the largest size, a box of 20. So they were about 3.50$ each. Well worth the money IMO. They didn’t come in a plastic bag, only just the cardboard box they were shipped in, but they look fine to me and my pit loves them. They’re even larger than I expected. Will be purchasing again for sure. Thank you.

I'm very disappointed. Take a look at the picture: this is what I received today, right out of the sealed plastic bag.The bones look old. 2 of them are actually yellowish, with an odor that I'm not sure about. One of them, the second from bottom in the picture, even has dirt, plenty of dirt, on it.It's not worth the trouble to return it, but fore sure, I'm done with this brand and this seller.

Not all dogs can tolerate these chews. My dog could not. They caused a great deal of problems with her anal glands and her colon. So, for my dog, only one star. Others may find these awesome for their dogs.

A Good rawhide doesn't break into pieces, but becomes gooey, malleable, and more easily swallowed as it's like a somewhat wet noodle at that point.These Rawhides do not become gooey, they are already with a brisk, more sandpaper textured surface than smooth like good hides I've gotten from elsewhere before.Upon letting your dog chew it, if they have a jaw like my 35pound pit pup does, it breaks into small hard pieces they then attempt to swallow and gag and spit up.Tried these for a bargain but threw all 5 out after my dog barely started on the end knot of the first one.They are about $1 more per bone as of this posting but Top Dog 3 pack 8"-10" Has been much better quality, though those also sometimes have middle inner pieces in the middle piece the main thing is wrapped around that can be a choking hazard, not all 1 piece, but supervised chewing is best!

I gave my dog one of these. Its brittle and breaks in to small pieces. I took it away and threw it all out. Waste of money. The only reason I even ordered these was because his usual buffalo hide ones were out of stock for a few weeks.

My 60+ pound dog is a chewer. Most toys are destroyed in minutes. Most rawhide treats, chews and bones last only hours at most. So I tried these rawhide bones and my dog is crazy about them. They last 2-3 days and are of good quality. Buying in bulk makes sense and keeps the cost reasonable. I can highly recommend.

I normally purchase a different product but decided to try this. The rawhide bone broke into sharp splinters as my dog chewed it. By the time I noticed he had injected one. He was in pain later and had bloody diarrhea for several days. Please beware.
