Thursday Boot Company Cavalier Men's Chelsea Boot

I’ve owned these boots for a couple of months now. I wear them often and they are definitely water resistant and very comfortable for long days walking or standing. They are really good boots and look very sharp with almost anything you wear. I highly recommend.

I ordered the black boots to use for cocktail attire, attending weddings, funerals, and other moderately formal situations. First pair arrived immaculate in brand new condition and having never been tried on previously. These boots come with a travel bag, presumably so you can try on the boots without scuffing the leather sole, but it also makes for a nice accessory. I returned the first pair because they were slightly too tight in the width on my larger foot. Second pair, a half size up, came with slightly scuffed soles and the start of creases forming on the vamp. Someone had clearly tried them on, walked around in them indoors, and decided to return. I was a little disappointed in the creasing, as it felt like the leather was from a bit more of a belly or other grain-break-prone region of the hide vs. the first pair, but since they fit well and still looked good, I decided to keep. They have polished up nicely and I can't wait to wear them more.

Great quality and good craftmanship. Slim profile give these boots the ability to be worn in business environments or on date night. Material is top notch. Not sure what exactly is used, but it's soft yet durable Slides on great. Fit is roomy and comfortable, yet not bulky or heavy feeling. Would recommend these boots in a heartbeat. I definitely plan to buy some more!

I am keeping my original review below, but for the update on the exchanged pair: these are good value and high quality boots for the price. Comfortable enough to wear daily either to the office or out and about on the town. These boots seem to be of good quality, however I did not try them on to properly rate anything. I will change this review if I decide to purchase another pair after returning these. I purchased as new and they simply arrived used, with a considerable amount of wear on the outsole. I contacted Thursday Boots customer support and they were unable to determine whether they shipped a used item through Amazon, or if Amazon mistakenly shipped a used item labeled as new. Thursday Boots were unable to offer any support and instructed me to handle the return through Amazon. If I'm spending $200.00 on a quality item, I would refer it to show up new as advertised.

Totally impressed with these shoes - always been hesitant to try a Chelsea boot but with how sleek and minimalist these are, they are my new favorite. First time trying them on - they felt amazing, way better than the Scouts. I went a size down, worried that they would look too long and pointy and it was perfect, even felt a little stretch to the material where it didn’t feel like it was crushing my toe-box. Perfect for neat casual attire in the workplace or for a date night.

Nice boot, but… The welt stitching came apart at the toe after just 2 months wear. Disappointing.

Not durable, at all. Might be good for anytime that never walks on concrete. Several weeks in, sole started wearing away. Bought in June 24. Siemens 24 I had to cut lining off the sole, because it was breaking and tearing away. A few months later(March 25), rubber insert on sole broke out. Wearing roughly 3x a week resulted in the pics. Love the color and fit, but it falling apart so quickly is unacceptable. This is my 3rd pair from this company and each version fails sooner and needs to be replaced. They need an insert to be comfortable, but still impacts the inside sole of the boot. Would not recommend

I think I came across Thursday boots like many buyers, through social media ads. I liked the look and colors of their product and pulled the trigger on these. They did not disappoint. I ordered half size down from my sneaker size 11 and ordered these boots in 10 1/2. I even wear thicker socks like you would wear with some boots and it fits great. I never liked trying to struggle my way into a shoe and surprisingly, I had no extra trouble of getting my foot in. I also wear wide in converse chucks, concerned if the regular fit of these boots might be to constricting, but again my roll of the dice paid off and the regular fit feels just fine. I'm not one to pop for 200 dollars on shoes but this was worth it. When you consider what they do for these shoes that allows you to even re-sole them if one day needed plus the treatment on the suede leather it seemed like one of the better buys for the money. I would also recommend the cobblers choice cedar inserts as they are really nice and help maintain the shape and structure of the boot. Yes, more money invested but again, worth it.

Excelente compra. Ya los había buscado en la página oficial, y ahora que los encontré aquí, no dejé pasar la oportunidad. Valen totalmente la pena, de gran calidad, no tardan en amoldarse aún siendo de construcción Goodyear, y la talla es tal cual, true to size, la misma que uso en otros calzados.

Great boot. Recommend a crepe brush to even out the wax on the toe as it comes very prominent

First impression: the boots have some weight into it, not like the usual cemented construction boots, beautiful leather, fits true to size, comfortable to wear. Wore this shoes at work. The leather stack heel is a bit hard and every step thumps the floor. I can definitely feel the floor. Not the ideal shoes to wear on a 12 hour shift. Something with the Vibram Cristy sole would be better. Over all, great boots! Goodyear welted, Danite looking sole with leather overlay, real stacked leather. Im happy with this that I am getting myself a Thursday Scout with a Cristy sole.

I rarely write product reviews. But in this case feel compelled based on the interaction with their customer service rep. I sat on the fence on buying Thursday's boots for well over a year. Watching Youtube videos, reading reviews, etc. They were the style i was looking for and I felt for the price i was willing to spend a bit more than other brands to get what they state is a premium boot. After purchasing in mid-November and wearing them intermittently for 4 months - the sole started to fall off on my right boot around the rubber grips. After reaching out to the customer service department at Thursday's they ultimately came back saying that the shoes looked worn and that there is no warranty with their boots. They also made it seem like the leather soles were not to come in contact with water? .... They are boots. At this point, i've had other boots which were half the price that have lasted over 7 years. Even products from the likes of Aldo have better longevity at not nearly the price. Loved the style, very comfortable once they broke in... but can't justify the price versus how long they last..
