Works as it should. Stays exacly where you put it and doesn't leak. About the same price as HRO but got free shipping with Amazon and that makes a cheaper better value. You can stretch it to make it thinner if need be so its a good thickness no matter how thin or thick you need it. Use for any connection that needs to be waterproofed

Very easy to use for wrapping cables or molding around antenna connections to keep rain, dirt and dust out. Easy to remove. I’ve been using it for years on coax cables connections. Does not get hard stays flexible.

We're cruising sailors and preventing salt air from intruding into VHF and SSB antennas, is important. This stuff is an old product and works just as it should. It seals on itself and forms into a water/air tight shield against the elements. I used most of the roll to protect a VHF coax splice after a mast removal for re-rigging. I recommend it for all such work.

Great for antenna builds.

Works great for any electrical or RF connection exposed to weather. Moldable and fuses to itself for about as good a seal as you're going to get. Never use plain electrical tape for this purpose, it will do more harm than good.

This stuff works exactly as described. I've used this before, but always purchased it from ham radio shops. Glad Amazon carries it. Easy to use and keeps weather out of your connections.

I put this on a BNC/BNC connection and 4 PL-259/SO-239 connections. The BNC connection was a male on one cable and female on the other, so no barrel. There's very little tape left, about 9 inches. It took probably 10" for the BNC and about a foot for each of the UHF connections. I didn't over-wrap it, in fact I didn't fully allow 1/2 width overlap on each turn. I only applied the tape last week, so I can't say about protection: it seems good. But don't believe the manufacturer's statement about 6" per joint or 9 connections per roll.
