I started using this product for my one epileptic border collie/ Burmese mountain dog. he will be 4 this February, he started having seizures when he was about 2 years old. they came on quick and frequent with no apparent reason ( 4 seizures a week, some were cluster seizures lasting 3 minutes or more, with severe conditions, temporary blindness loss of bowels, flopping violently, it was heartbreaking). the first veterinarian said he was just wired wrong, well that didnt make any sense to me, as I figured if he was wired wrong he would have had seizures from the very beginning of his life. so, I took him to another veterinarian, a holistic vet. well to make a long story short and 8000.00 (yes 8k) dollars later we discovered my dog had several other issues. his thyroid didnt work, he was 58 lbs overweight and his body was riddled with inflammation, he had flaky dry dull hair, just a mess. I could go on but I wont ramble.the first veterinarian put him on phenobarbital which you cant just take him off cold Turkey. so with me being a health conscious person (I have crohns disease and treat myself holistically) I wanted a different approach. I then started doing some research about the dogs immune system. I put him on a raw diet, uncooked meats and raw vegetables in conjunction with some natural supplements, spirulina being one of those natural supplements. he has been on this regiment for just over 2 months now. his seizures have decreased dramatically, hes had one, yes ONE seizure in the 2 month timeframe, that's outstanding in my opinion. he has lost 20 lbs, his coat is shiny, has more energy, and all around just feels much better.I also have two other dogs, one is an Australian cattle dog and the other is a wolf hybrid. i didnt give them the spirulina and other supplements in the beginning, one day i noticed they would go sniff and lick the sick dogs food bowl, at first i just thought they were being greedy, but then i realized they were trying to lick up any trace elements left behind. so, I started giving it to them as well, I figured it wouldn't hurt. both the wolf dog and cattle dog are older, 12 and 8 yrs. they have arthritis, eye issues, etc. all the fun that comes with senior dogs. haha. needless to say now they wont eat their food without the maju spirulina on it. I've tried, I have made their food the same exact way minus the spirulina and when I offer it to them they all look at me like "hey lady you forgot something and simply refuse to eat. yes they are super spoiled.in closing I have to say that maju spirulina will be a staple in our household (I use it too, put it in my blueberry smoothie every day). I feel like this small company truly cares about quality and what it offers to the consumer. after my second order I had the cofounder reach out to me via email, (probably wondering why I ordered more so soon). anyhow, I briefly explained, he listened. then another representative reached out to me, it was very reassuring to me as a consumer that this company truly cares about its craft and not just the almighty dollar, as they gave me a discount code to use, which was very nice of them since feeding 3 animals and myself this way is expensive. so it was much appreciated. I have just made my 3rd order of the spirulina as well I'm trying out their ashwagandha another supplement we all take. they have definitely earned my business with their caring concern for health, their customers well being, their transparency and responsible sourcing. this goes a long way in my book as everything and everybody are so disconnected in today's world, and the pups have given their paw stamp approval. maju is simply the best.

The quality of this spirulina is very good . Upon opening the package, the fresh smell was inviting, indicating its high quality. The powder is smooth, with no clumps, which shows that it has been well-processed.Perfect color and taste.Spirulina is known for its numerous health benefits, including being a rich source of protein, vitamins, and antioxidants. The fact that is non-irradiated for me it is better because it retains more of its original nutrients and natural flavor. Non irradiated refers to products that have not been subjected to ionizing radiation, a process used to kill bacteria, pests, and spoilage organisms or to extend shelf life.While it does have a distinct taste, I found that it blends great with fruits and other ingredients, making it easy to incorporate into smoothies . This way, you can enjoy all the benefits without the strong flavor overpowering your drink.

I discovered spirulina in1986 and have tried many brands. For taste and smell, this is the best I have found. Mixes with almost any food.

My husband, Kurt, and I first started using spriulina tablets approximately 20 years ago. We immediately felt energenized and a since of well being. I do not remember how long we used it, perhaps a couple of years. Then we tried a multipulte of the latest products and became multi-lelvel markering, etc. Needless to say none of these high-priced products made is feel the energy and sense of well being that spriulina had..In 2004, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Bottom line to that story, I tried accupuncture, accupressure, chiropractors, etc. We were missing a lot of work. Both of us had zero of energy, stressed, depressed, not even wanting to watch TV, or listen to music, basically, all our favorite activities (biking, hiking, hanging out with friends, etc. This lastest until from 2004 untilI April 2017. Then I had a moment of clarity. I said to Kurt, who was also ill, remember when we were taking spriulina tablets and how it immediately made us feel.I knew Amazon would have the best products and prices. We had heard that CA spirulina was the best and we viewed several of the products and choose to order 3 of MAJU's Spiriulina Power. We were amazed that after just a week of making a shake a day made us feel better again.We have began exercising again, watching the 2017 NBA Playoffs--Go Golden State Warriors! Not going to bed at 7:00 PDT and rising a lot earlier.Of course, we still have some loose ends; however, MAJU's Spirulina Powder is the only supplement we are using.Thanks for encouraging me to write a five-star review. Just one thing, we did not receive the recipe book that was promised.Keep up the quality product and God-speed on making your small business into a much bigger enterprize.Donna
