Exactly as advertised. This is a quality recoil starter replacement and it functions exactly as the original did when it left the factory. Installation on my Tecumseh 9hp snowblower couldn't be easier and something anyone can do. If you have 10 thumbs, you can watch a YouTube video and you'll be a pro the very first time.

Good stuff.
I use this for the recoil string in all my lawn equipment, works in all of them, blower, weed eater and lawn mower. I use it to bundle up branches when I trim trees. It's strong, doesn't cost a lot and easy to use. Two things, being nylon make sure you use a match or something to melt ends when you cut to keep it from unraveling and it is slick so you need to use a good knot or double tie it.
