GREEN WATER GONE!!
Our fish tank is in a room with many windows. Although it rarely gets direct light, the algae is out of control in the tank. Within 3 days of a water change, the tank water is green, the walls are green, and it looks like a murky mess.I upgraded my filter to the aqua clear 30, and with their filter media I saw zero difference. Many people said to remove the carbon filter in the filtration basket and add purigen. I wasn’t sure how big the purigen pouch would be so i ordered mesh bags which were not needed at all. The purigen pouch fit perfectly in my aqua clear 30 filter basket after I removed the carbon. Within 2 days my water went from green to CRYSTAL CLEAR! Days later the water looks great! I will still have to do algae maintenance on the glass, but I’m in awe how the water is perfect now! I also like how you can reuse the purigen by cleaning it with bleach.

This stuff works!!
I have been using other seachem products like prime, stress guard, and paraguard. All amazing products, after reading about purigen I decided to give it a try… this stuff works very well!!The pictures listed are 24 hours apart!!!

One of the best media to add to your aquarium filters hands down!
This stuff is the stuff of dreams! I have never had clearer water. I now run it in all of my filters, both freshwater and saltwater. I love that you can also recharge it after use to keep it going for longer! Well done, Seachem!

Crystal water
Excellent product! Thought my tank was going through a bacterial bloom but I gave this a shot anyways. Crystal clear in 24 hours. Price is completely fair for results of product.

Works well
We have a 75 gallon tank with SEVERAL pieces of driftwood. The amount of tannins leaching out was insane. We’ve used about 6 in total to achieve full water clarity during the cycling phase: 4 to start and 2 more to maintain. It is definitely worth it. Just make sure to follow the instructions and rinse these out very well before use or else you risk cloudiness for a couple of days. I learned that the hard way when using in another tank. The fish were fine, just didn’t look too great.

It works!
I've used two of these already and they cleared my tank up, but after a day it was back to brown from tannins. Going to keep doing water changes and keep trying.

I like it better than Tidal 35…
I find this product, very easy to work with and less expensive as well. I had a very hard time with the chunks in the Seachem title 35. I took them all out and replaced the bag and my tank crashed so I put half of them back in loose and then the new bag and it took three or four weeks for my tank to come back from the edge of oblivion. When I put this pure product in instead, I still left a few of the Seachem chunks in the filter; maybe four or five. I have had no tank crash! My water looks spectacular my corydoras are so happy They kept laying eggs and now I have several healthy, happy baby coreys! I think the mother Is the Long fin variety & The other two are green Coreys. They chase my long fin all the time, So I assume that she is the mother of the eggs and now the babies. Two are brownish And one has some distinct green on him. I’m curious to see how they grow up. But back to the filter. I have suffered with probably 30 filters in my fish keeping years. I’ve had everything from the 3 gallon to a 55 gallon tank. For some reason this measly 10 gallon tank has been a nightmare as far as filtration. But an intelligent young man from my LFS recommended the Seachem Tidal 35. He uses it in all 25 of his tanks. He also cleans and takes care of other peoples tanks as a side job. And he loves Corydoras! I was really afraid I’d made a mistake by listening to him, but it just takes the right filter media to make all the difference in the world. And the right filter. And someone knowledgeable & friendly to steer you in the right direction.! I highly recommend this product and I hope that you give it a shot. What do you have to lose besides a messy tank and a couple of dollars? Who knows you could end up with surprise fish fry!!!!!!!
