I got this because after about ten years, the little sewing kit I got as a kid finally started running low. This kit is great for the money and comes with a lot of helpful stuff BUT be careful opening it for the first time!! There’s a pot of flat end pins and it had popped open in transport and there’s SO many in there. I opened up the case and some fell onto my carpet, they were also hiding in the thread and down the sides of the inside of the case, I was finding them for days and it left me at a big risk of being poked. The product itself though is great, you get a whole load of different colours for different projects and a whole variety of tools I never even used to have. Overall it’s a great purchase, just watch out for loose sharp things when you first open it.

Very creative sawing set

For a low cost sewing kit this one offers more than it should, more than you think. There are numerous coloured cotton reels covering many colours in the spectrum. You also get scissors which are good enough to cut through the cotton, but not good for cutting through thicker cloth. There’s a disc of needles of all different sizes, and little plastic needle threaders which makes threading the needles so quick and simple. There’s even more in the case, there’s thimbles which does protect your fingers, although it’s not the widest and my fingers aren’t the smallest out there.There’s also safety pins, nail clippers, tape measure, buttons, beading needles and much more. All kept together in a zip-case with elastic strips to keep everything in its place.In all, there’s everything you need to do a little sewing or simple repairs and it doesn’t cost the earth either.

Need case plastic broke the first time used. Very fragile. The rest of the kit is good or very good, however. Nice outer case. ideal for emergencies or small jobs.
