I’ve been using my Instant Pot for a long time and have always stuck with the manufacturer’s replacement rings. This time, when I needed a new sealing ring, I was skeptical about whether a compatible option would match the quality of the original. However, I was pleasantly surprised! This replacement ring is exactly the same in quality, fits perfectly, and creates a tight seal just like the original. It works well with no issues, and I’m glad I gave it a try. Plus, it comes at a great price, making it an excellent value for the quality.

When I received the product, I put it on the pot and the lid is not very secure and feel loose. However, when it is actually put into work in cooking, it works. All the air is sealed inside and tight, the pressure is built up as expected. There is no leaking of air. You are safe to buy it. Great value at this price.

These came fast and look like they are well made. I like the different colors so that I can change them for different food items. I think they will help keep strong odors away from sweet items.

When these arrived, I put each one in my Instant Pot one at a time and ran the initial water pressure test to see how they performed. The pot came up to pressure right away and there was no leakage at all. Each ring seal came with a matching colored silicone seal for the float valve that pops up when the pressure starts building up. The silicone material is sturdy yet soft enough to install and remove easily as needed. I put each ring seal and matching float valve seal in a gallon-size zip lock bag and labeled them for different food flavor profiles so that foods in the pot don't get incompatible flavors from the seals (like BBQ or spicy/hot foods.) I definitely recommend these seals from this store.

After cleaning and hot water to soften the silicone for a first seal, it sprung into the correct shape once out of the package. The two-year-old seal would frequently lose its seal thus preventing solid pressure cooking. I am trying out this replacement as I do this review. You can immediately tell the difference between an old hardened seal that's lost its volume to compress vs the new seal which is fuller and softer.
