Q: What are the ingredients in this mix?

Guaranteed Analysis: Total Nitrogen (N).................................................................4% 0.4% Ammoniacal Nitrogen 0.4% Water Soluble Organic Nitrogen 3.2% Water Insoluble Organic Nitrogen* Available Phosphate (P2O5).............................................6% Soluble Potash (K2O).........................................................4% Calcium (Ca)...........................................................................4% Derived from aerobically composted turkey litter and feather meal.

Q: How many gallons will this package make?

The directions recommend 1 bag per gallon. I didn’t count them but someone else said there are 10 and that seems right. So that means 10 gallons. I didn’t measure but filled a bucket with water and let it sit overnight. I doubt it needed that much time but the water was very dark by morning.

Q: Can you use tap water or does the water have to be de-chlorinated?

I used tap water. Read organic gardeners don’ t like the chlorine. I mix it in a large bucket and like a fish tank let it sit and the chlorine dissipates.

Q: So City water will not affect the microbes of this package?

Whoever said very few cities use chlorine in their water makes me scratch my head. Every state I have lived I can literally smell It in the sink water. Chlorine kills beneficial microbes. Use a cheap water hose filter at the least.
