Paper Mate Clearpoint Break-Resistant Mechanical Pencils, 0.7mm, HB 2 Lead

Thick enough lead that it isn't snapping all the time from to much pressure. Ergonomic design, rotate the end to extend or retract the eraser. It's a decent pencil, no complaints

I’m a student and I write a ton, this pencil is perfect. Others are saying the break resistant is faulty, but it doesn’t break nearly as much as the average mechanical pencil, and no matter what, why would you think $10 pencils would be that perfect? It has a nice look, comfortable to hold, the erasers work amazing, and is smooth to write with. The only con I have is there isn’t much lead that comes with them. If you need new mechanical pencils and can’t choose, pick these, they’re amazing for their price.

These are the only pencils I have used since middle school. They are extremely durable & easy to grip, don’t break the lead, they hold a lot of lead and eraser, and the twist-up eraser is genius.To get refills for the eraser you can buy refills for eraser-pens and cut them into thirds—it’s way cheaper and less wasteful than buying the regular refills. They last forever.My one gripe is that I really wish they had more colors available. I would buy a green or blue one in a heartbeat.

Good for very fine work. The line is darker the harder you press. And an eraser that does NOT smear! The lead is practically unbreakable.

I use this pencil for my gradebook. I used a draftsman pencil last year, however, the lead would beak each time I used it. The lead in this pencil seldom breaks. Very nice! To advance the lead, you must press a button near your index finger. I prefer a thumb click.

Writes clearly, leads do not jam, I love that the eraser is retractable, and replaceable .

I appreciate the ability to erase and find mechanical pencils comfortable, always sharp, and long lasting. These look so much like pens I have had coworkers pick them up to sign documents. Once they find out I have a pencil they ask to borrow it. I have convinced several to purchase their own.

Very break resistant, but still possible to break with too much pressure. In general, it is better than the other pencils I bought and very comfortable.

This was a stupid purchase because I needed pencils asap so I went ahead and spent 13$ on overpriced pencils!
