This pen is heavy which feels really nice. Not like the crap sold at stores these days. This feels like a pen that won't be deposited into a landfill. It is sleek and writes really well. I had bought two other fountain pens before this one and they both were terrible at writing. They would be too dry every time I'd try to write with them. Even after I disassembled them, soaked the nib and refilled with fresh ink, then did a little writing, they would dry up again. I thought that was just a fountain pen thing and that other people simply must be desperate enough to put up with it. When I bought this pen, I discovered how nice fountain pens can be. This pen dispenses ink smoothly and hardly ever dries up. As a bonus, I get a lot of attention from my classmates who have never seen fountain pens used before. Be a trend-setter and buy this pen!

Been using it about a week now. Dropped in on some concrete and luckily it didn't hurt it which is why I wanted a metal one. Has some weight to it but you get used to it pretty quick. Comes with a refillable tank but you can take that out and just pop in a disposable refill. Only thing I'm iffy on is the lid is a screw on which can be a little tedious if you put your cap on and off alot.

Nice heavy pen. I've come to the point where heavier / larger fountain pens are better for my personal use. Cannot say if would be good for someone else. Very juicy, the M nib lays down a nice wide line when writing which allows a nice large pop of color from the ink. Pen comes in at 48 grams (1.69315 oz). Pen is well balanced with the cap posted. Overall I'm impressed with the Hong Dian fit, finish, and function. It also shares the screw in nib / feed section like their black forest line. Since I already own a set of the screw in nibs, that allows me to also adjust to the ink because some inks are 'wetter' than others. Now for the not so good stuff. I don't know if this pen was a return or if somehow it got skipped in the flushing process that happens at the factory. I usually do a flush / clean with every pen I get to ensure that all the manufacturing lubricants are removed from the nib/feed and the converter. Imagine my surprise when the pen flush solution was pink in the converter! Add that to the poor condition the metal box was in, one of the hinge areas was severely distorted and the lid appears that somewhere along the line it was exposed to a serious amount of weight, that caused the lid to bend downwards around the pen. If the pen had been a resin or acrylic body, I suspect that the pen body would have been damaged. After looking the pen over under magnification it seemed unharmed. That is the only reason why I didn't return it.

I was doubtful about these fountain pens from China, but I also ordered a set of the variable nibs. The trick is to order the variable nibs and the one nib that's not part of that set so you get all four options. Switching nibs is actually pretty easy with a little twisting (just be prepared to get a dab of ink on your finger). The option to use the refillable cartridges (included) or throw-away cartridges with pre-filled ink both work great. I use the pre-fills for traveling, and bought a jar of ink for at home. I haven't had any major leaks or disasters thus far.

Very comfortable and feels solid. Holds ink great and it flows incredibly. In the video I use Pelikan 4001 ink. This is an amazing beginner pen. The pen is pretty, it writes smoothly, and I love making small drawings with it. I'm 15 (using my father's account) so I'd say this pen is great for children who love art. I let my 11 y/o step sister write with it and now she wants one!! I saw that there's tip replacements too so this pen should last a life time! 10/10

This pen is a little heavy for my taste, and it made me discover how much I prefer a snap-on cap, but over all, it's a beauty! I love the bent nib, and it makes a great sketching pen. With water soluble ink, (and waterbrush), it's a simple, transportable drawing option. I'm left-handed; the nib is great for me. I'm using Herbin Perle Noir and the flow is terrific, the line is dynamic. I like this as well or better than the Sailor fude pens. Great quality, happy purchase.

Nice looking pen, but they sent the wrong one... Make sure you look at the nib to see what you're actually getting. I bought a second one and noticed that the writing was different. I checked the nibs, and surely enough, they are not the same (even though I ordered the same size nib). Another thing I'm realizing is that the pen dries out pretty easily (and I always cap it fully closed). It's also fairly scratchy, though some might like that I suppose.

Bonjour, Ce stylo plume est une tuerie (comme disent les gosses ). Il est lourd , l'écriture est parfaite , ni trop épaisse , ni trop fine . La plume glisse même sur du papier standard . Pas de tâches ,de ratés ou autres pâtés . Je n'ai pas de stylo plume meilleur que celui là . Mais je n'ai pas de stylo plume très chers ou très huppés . Je n'ai eu que des Waterman et autres de gamme moyenne . Celui-ci joue dans une autre cour. Bien à vous.

Utilizo habitualmente Parker estaba teniendo problemas con una pluma relativamente nueva. Compré esta y estoy realmente sorprendido, la escritura es fina y fluida, escribe a la primera incluso después de horas o un fin de semana sin ser utilizada. Escribo mucho y llevo usándola 2 semanas y estoy contento con los resultados hasta ahora. Había visto en otros comentarios problemas de continuidad en el trazo, pero supongo que están relacionados con el tipo de tinta. Yo estoy utilizando cartuchos Parker y he probado tinta azul y negra sin problema. Los acabados en negro son más que correctos. La pluma es muy sobria en su aspecto y en estas dos semanas de uso continuo no ha habido ningún deterioro de los mismos. Contento con la compra.

La penna è arrivata prima del previsto, all'aspetto estetico è molto stile "Nero satinato sthealth", il che la fa apparire molto bella sia da vedere che da maneggiare. Confermo la sensazione di avere tra le mani qualcosa rivestita di un sottilissimo strato di gomma. Non stanca la mano e lascia un tratto senza incertezze. Per il suo costo, è stato un ottimo acquisto ed è nel gotha delle mie penne più belle, insieme a Parker e Faber Castell. Non ho riscontrato neppure un difetto tale da poter essere definito tale. Un bellissimo acquisto, che rifarei se volessi fare bella figura per regalarla a un amante delle stilografiche. Compratela senza incertezze.

Da ist der Unterschied nur in den verwendeten Materialien und dem Namen zu sehen und zu bewerten. Vom schreibgefühl her aber sehr gut. Für die tägliche Arbeit daher bestens geeignet.
