Bought to replace a bolt that had previously been rendered ineffective by the cat, in that the little sticky outy bit that you use to push the bolt across had become unscrewed and disappeared. Yes, he’s persistent, but with mink and a feral cat colony nearby he has to get used to staying in at night for his own safety.This has done the trick, and the number of remaining bolts in the packet means we have spares in the worst case scenario, but I don’t think that will be necessary: for one thing, the slider is a single piece and so there is nothing to come unscrewed.The one criticism I do have is that it is looser than expected, which means that there is a greater chance the cat will eventually figure out how to undo it, as it’s easier for him to move it. It’s also noisier when he sits there and paws at it repeatedly, because he’s a determined little thing. Fortunately, Dreamies are an excellent distraction. Buy both :)

Sturdy, no issues. Cheaper than a hardware store.

Wanted these to close the electrical cupboard. Blows open but not hard going.Screw end fell off.Unable to use so will be returning.Not recommend

Bought to replace small lock on baby gate alas did not fit but that's for another reason but will use on other projects
