Very comfortable and stylish
Excellent replacement earpads! The Jecobb earpads fit my Audio-Technica ATH M50X headphones perfectly and instantly improved comfort. The memory foam and protein leather feel soft and cushiony, making long listening sessions so much better. They were easy to install, and the white color adds a fresh look to my headphones. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade or replace their earpads!

Couldn't ask for better.
Perfect and easy to install replacement ear cups for my ATH-M40X. The synthetic-leather is more comfortable than the originals while retaining the same fit. My head doesn't get sweaty from them. Sound quality does not differ from the stock cups. Great choice when you need to replace the stock ear cups.

Spot-on replacements.
Great--color is spot on! Installation is a bit fiddly, but really no big deal difficulty. Just perseverence. And as to addressing the headband scaling, I got one of those zip covers and did not like it at all. Wrong color (there isn't any cover with a color match). (AFAIK) And, band covers too much area, including the blue plastic of the headband. BUT, Audio Technica provided a perfect remedy--the headphone bag itself! Same color, nice and flexible, easy to work with. First, cut the seams open (I used a No. 11 blade)(carving set). It's a surgical blade as well. (Didn't try a seam ripper). Laid it out flat, cut a strip exactly precisely 1 1/4 inches wide. Cut off the curled ends. Laid it along the inside of the headband for length estimate. Try to get this right--easier in the long run. ("Measure twice, cut once"). Now, you'll see that the edges are white. This'll show. I picked up a brown marker, part of a Crayola set at WalMart for about $4. Color the edges brown--now you won't see edges when installed. Next, a strip of wax paper to help hold strip in place, keeping glue from sticking where you don't want it. Lay strip flat, carefully "butter" the white back with E6000 glue, which stays flexible. Lay it into place inside headband. Position carefully. Lay the wax paper strip along it, and wrap -wind it with something to hold everything into place with mild pressure. (I used a couple strips of cling wrap, like Saran-or Glad-Wrap). Left it on, a good 24 hours to cure. Now, looks just like original. But without the "tan dandruff" from flaking. Tip: don't try gluing down flakes which hang on--remove them. For cutting the strip, I used a rotary cutter. (My wife's a quilter). Available in fabric dept, $10. I'll touch-up with a bit of glue on a toothpick, looks like.

Audio Technica ATH MX50 replacement pads
I bought these as replacement pads for my ATH mx50 headphones. They are good quality and easy to install. My only complaint is they were replacing a pad on a limited edition pair I have and the color isn't a perfect match. It is very close but if your picky like I am you might want to try a different company.

Good quality - Musician approved.
Heard some folks saying it changed the sound and whatnot but I decided to give it a shot on my ATH-M20x's since the earpads were cracking badly. Replaced with these and they are very nice. Nicer than the ones it came with I'd dare say. No change in noise-cancellation. In fact I'd say it is better with the new earpads. No change in sound quality either. I'm a musician by trade so I'm very picky about that and I've noticed no real difference there. Sounds like a new pair of headphones honestly. When you take the earpads off though there is a little bit of paper adhered to the inside of the earphones. Just don't mess with that and you'll be fine. Very pleased overall. Looks great and feels wonderful. Not sure how long the "protein leather" is going to last for, but for 12-13 bucks if it lasts even a year I'd consider it worth it - and to be honest I think this will probably last at least a few years after feeling it. If you've got your eye on em and you need new earpads - I'd say go for it.

Didn't last long, served its purpose.
Bought these about 10 months ago to replace the original ATH-M50x's earpads, (I might add, lasted under 2 years). I had previously purchased a new set of memory foam earpads, although they drastically changed how my headphones sounded, so I wanted a set that sounded like how the originals sounded. These earpads were similar to the originals, but they didn't last as long. They started peeling about 6 months in. I wanted the original noise isolation and the original distance that the earcups were from my ears, and I got it with these, but I wish I had just bought the original because I know they last longer.

Get these for your brown ATH-M50X
My original ATH-M50X hardware was peeling on the headband and ear pads. So I got a cover for the headband (easy enough), and some velour ear pads. Velour doesn't peel. Surely this will fix everything, I thought. Surely they will simply be more comfortable and there will be no impact on anything else. That was the WORST sound experience possible. I don't know why people recommend those velour pads for these headphones. Drums were super tinny. Atrocious sound in every way. I will tell you now. The material makes the sound. Do not even think about using those velour pads. Get the pleather. My ears are so happy, they compelled me to write this review immediately after installation. I got these because I have the limited edition brown ATH-M50Xs, and the color is a nice match. Notes on the "features": 1) These are not technically noise "cancelling" but their sound isolation is maybe 4/5 (as opposed to the velour, which was maybe 2/5). 2) These are not as hard to install as the reviews made me believe. Be brave. Pull the material a little bit. You will live, and they will fit. 3) They're as comfy as the original pads, so I gave it a 5/5. However, I wouldn't call the ATH-M50Xs "comfy" but I don't blame the earpads for that.

Bought these a couple years ago and these have held up with casual use, colour was very close to original.

J'ai les audio technica m50x brun et bleu marin. Depuis un bout de temps les cache oreilles se désintégraient. Maintenant ils ont l'air neufs. Très facile à remplacer.

Well made. Rescued a nice old set of headphones and gave em new life. Love the retro color.

Bought this cos the replacement earpads from official store are OOS. Material feels warm. Foam of inner cushion is very thin. Affected listening. Quite a waste of money.
