I gave it a 5 because the holster part that I received was well made. However, the holster or shell was missing. Contacted Alien Holsters and they were Johnny on the spot and refunded my money ASAP

Excellent drop holster. Leg strap drifts as much as any other I've worn, but interchangeable holster capabilities and tough construction has served me well this past hunting season. Looking forward to many more years of use from this holster!

Perhaps the best looking drop leg holster on the planet 🌍 it’s also very well designed, but the actual holster contrary to as advertised does hold a Glock 19 but not securely in place, the instructions are vague, shouldn’t have to go on YouTube to figure it out for $160, disappointing!

Most comfortable holster I have tried (and, like you, I have a drawer full of failed attempts). Easy to adjust. I like that I can swap the holster shells for various guns.

I wanted a modular drop style holster and picked this up to try. Much to my surprise was how cheap and poorly designed the actual holster module was. It is a plastic clamshell that is held together with two plastic thumb cap screws. It felt cheap and I would definitely not be confident running and gunning with it. The deal breaker is that Alien Gear doesn’t make this holster for an optic equipped pistol. In today’s day and age, most modern gunners are running optics and weapon mounted lights. Such a missed opportunity. Retention was difficult to adjust and I could see the holster separating when inserting the gun. I really wanted to like this holster but I returned it without being able to use it. I was certainly not interested in removing my optic to try it based on the cheap feel of the plastic. On a positive note, I did like the belt attachment and the quick release mechanism for the drop attachment to the belt holder. Very clever. Actually here is where I think the product shined. I also like the different drop bars for ride heights. Finally, the swivel to the leg strap is comfortable and functional. If Alien Gear can make a better pistol shell to attach to the base, I would consider it. Not offering optic cut is a huge miss.

Works great, easy to put on and you don’t have to take it off when you get back in the truck.

This seems to be awesome quality from and Idaho company. I did modify the end by drilling a hole for my extended barrel to fit through. The only detail that kept this product from reaching 5 stars would be the release lever, it seems like it could’ve been designed better. The retention button sticks up far from its base and wiggles around (I’ll try to update with a video at a later time). Otherwise this is comfortable and perfect for a tactical setting. If I needs to switch from my primary weapon to pistol, isn’t too difficult to retrieve my sidearm from. Again, the button needs some tuning.

Pretty comfortable. I can almost forget I’m wearing it. Locks pistol in place so no one can just snatch it out, but easy enough for you to draw in a hurry if you need to.
