Mattel 2002 Holiday Celebration Barbie

This is one of the most beautiful Barbies in my collection, I am so pleasantly surprised that i found this one for such a great price. The deep red of the gown, the sparkle, her hair, literally everything is perfection. The box had some light wear to it, but that was already written in the description by the seller. I also debox, so the box condition doesn’t really matter to me anyway! Overall, ecstatic with my purchase :)

One of the rarer Holiday Barbie dolls, but one of the best. She has a grand, sparkling, burgundy gown and a nice face with "real" eyelashes. She's not that expensive, but she looks like it.Mine came in a box with a clouded window. If that happens to anyone else, its easily fixed with a cotton swab and some window cleaner.

Perfect condition, great price, arrived very quickly. I started buying the Holiday Barbie for my daughter in 2001 which was her first Christmas, somehow I missed the boat getting one in the stores in 2002 and it's always been a thorn in my side, I never expected to be able to buy one without paying a ton of money, this price was basically the same as if I bought a new one today, so I am very happy, that over 10 years later, her collection is now complete with every year.

The doll is very beautiful, but when I received the package the plastic in the front was dented in some. I am not sure how I can get undented without opening the box. I have a few more older Barbie' s to order, but if the are going to come like this one did I am not sure if I will order any more.

The Barbie was shipping with no defects and is in mint condition. This was 1 of 3 that I bought from Regal Toys. 2/3 were shipped using good packing materials, but one was simply surrounded by paper, which I found strange. The only thing I really didn't like was that I purchased all 3 Barbies on one day, all from Regal Toys, & I received them in 3 separate boxes on 3 different days. It was kind of a headache, but nonetheless everything looks great.

The doll itself is gorgeous. I've been collecting Barbie for several years and wanted a few of the older ones. I wish sellers gave information about the condition of the box. Doesn't appear to have been opened but the left side is damaged and there's what looks like paint on the bottom right. You get what you pay for. Maybe if I'd spent more it would've been in better shape. Kinda disappointed 😞
