Cool knife
I've had a lot of knives throughout my life. This is my 2nd knife from this company. I love the blade and the mechanism to open and close. Came very sharp out the box! Highly recommended to all!

I love this knife
I should probably be a better digital citizen and write more reviews, but the fact I'm writing this one speaks volumes about how much I love this knife. I've got a bunch of knives, many of them are top brands, but there's inevitably some feature that isn't everything I want.I got this knife in February and it is nearly perfect. I can open and close it one-handed, from slipping it out of my pocket, flipping it open, using it, unlocking the blade and flipping it back closed. It's really smooth and well designed. The fat blade is great for everything from cutting up kindling to fixing lunch. The reverse tanto is useful for opening boxes and makes for a thick, strong blade throughout the length of the knife. I have a knife sharpener that has standard and Asian grinds. I use the Asian grind on this knife and it's razor sharp and seems to hold that edge really well. The scales (I have the blue one) have a good grip surface without grabbing your pocket. So I gave the lock feature a 4 out of 5... I love it primarily because even my best knives have a liner lock or spine lock, something that keeps me from closing it one-handed. It takes a little practice (literally a few tries) before closing it one-handed is intuitive, but it's the only knife I own that I can do it with. Having said that, the latch mechanism could use just a little redesign to be simpler to release. Not bad, but not perfect.I'm planning on purchasing several more of these, so I have one in my truck, boat, toolbox, etc. This knife isn't just great for the money, it's a great knife.

This thing is a beast!
This is not a delicate knife but rather a chunky monster that is razor sharp. While playing around with it I had released the catch while holding it horizontal. The blade swung down by it's own weight and gently rested on the tip of one of my fingers that was in the way. Later I saw a deep and super clean cut on the tip of my finger, and that is how sharp the blade is, like a surgical laser or something. This thing appears durable and the fit and finish are very nice. I will likely buy another of a different color, and as such my only niggle is that there are not more color ways to choose from.

Great Knife For Cutting Boxes
I have been real happy with this knife. It cuts through cardboard like butter. Low cost high value.

Unique but not different
Was having high hopes for this knife. I have a few other CJRB knives and figured this one would be a good addition to my collection. I was somewhat right but certainly have my doubts. First off, the shape and feel were within tolerances. Nothing strange but nothing special either. The locking mechanism was different and seems fine. I have knives that have similar locking latches and although they work, there are sometimes they don't work that well. Meaning where the latch is located it is easy to disengage and have the blade close on you, especially when put under pressure. But not to worry, if the blade were to disengage and close on your fingers the blade would most likely 'bounce' off (it isn't sharp). The handle was pretty much what I expected it to be. Again, nothing out of the ordinary but not special. But that is about as far of 'likeable' features I have. The blade, as I said, is extremely dull and has more than a few nicks. I attempted to cut a piece of paper and like they say "it's not what the blade does to the paper but what the paper does to the blade". And I'm afraid to even imagine what the paper did. Least to say, it didn't cut. Initial observation it seems like it was a 'rush' product, and the QC went out for lunch. Pretty stiff opening/closing. I suspect the knives' handle was torqued down too much. I expect, when I get a new knife, to possibly do some work on it, but taking it apart isn't one of them. Bottom line? Not thrilled but not disappointed. It now will become an experimental knife amongst my other experimental knives and give me an opportunity to practice sharpening, knife mechanics, and learn about knife structures. Not a waste, but for the price I expected more. FYI: knife was made in China, so use your cautionary senses to figure out whether or not this knife is for you.

Fantastic knife
I've purchased this knife three times already as I have unfortunately lost two. Love the opening and closing mechanism, I wish CJRB would make more knifes in this style. I find it much more comfortable to use for daily needs comparing to frame lock, no longer my thumbs hurt and by extension I end up using it more often from slicing apples to opening boxes, I end up using it at least a dozen times a day. Excellent 👌

Very pleased
This knife is light (comparatively) and will share EDC time with other knife’s I hold in high regards.
