These hinges are heavy duty, adjustable, and fairly well designed. The only improvement I can readily think of would be the instructions which are trash. Watch the review videos but it's fairly simple. They close my 4 foot wood paneled aluminum framed gate with ease without slamming so hard the latch can't catch.

I bought these for the garden gate I built out of rough cut white oak. Due to the nature of the lumber I was using, I chose these hinges because I liked that they were easily adjustable. I just wish the screws were a little longer.

Lots of adjustment, will be helpful if gate says. I prefer quality of this brand compared to big box store

Great looking hinges, and seem to be strong for now. The adjustability is very helpful only downsides are the plastic rings the put on each side of the adjustment nuts, they break off when you tighten them so I'd suggest going to your local hardware shop and getting some black washers. I'd strongly recommend using some carriage bolts for your hardware seeing the supplied hardware is very short and doesn't add much structural support. Besides all that I'd definitely buy again if I had to build another gate. Btw my gate us 6 feet tall and 4.5 feet wide so it's very heavy and these hinges have held up a few months already.

Must have overtightened the spring because the whole mounting bracket bent in half on one side of my gate. Wish they had noted that in the instructions. Tried to work it out with the seller but Amazon makes it impossible to contact them.
