Excellent! Exactly what I need. It's plenty thick and non-slip. It makes filing frets and other tedious work much easier.

If you are doing ANY work on your guitar, you need a soft, cushioned surface like the MusicNomad Guitar Work Mat. Don’t cheap it out; just get it. It works perfectly. Most pros have one.

I love it. Takes the headache out of a guitar sliding around when changing strings, cleaning, modifying, etc. Not sure it's worth the price however.

I'm a huge music nomad fan. I'm slowly collecting all of the guitar tools they offer. I guess I expected something more from them. Don't get it wrong it's a simple mat, and yes it does protect your guitar from your work surface. It's not very thick, more like a big mouse pad. Yes it works perfectly but I do think there is some room for improvement. It's still better then the old towel I was using before I got this.

Perfect size to fit on the kitchen counter/guitar work space. Here I am installing a preamp on an acoustic guitar. There are towels in the guitar to reduce the spread of sawdust. I will be using the same setup to do some fret work on a nylon six string,

This is a great pad for $15. Compare to StewMac's guitar workpad at $47 to 57!! Or Fender's at $56. This is a better mat than either of those, although those both have a plastic neck cradle. You will want to make or purchase a neck support to properly work on your guitars with this mat. You want the headstock elevated, especially if it is a headstock that angles back (like a les paul, etc.) so you don't crack the headstock or neck. This is thick enough and durable enough that unless you are really careless, it should last a long time. Like any rubber mat - don't solder over it, or you'll get metal splatters and flux splatters that will then scratch your guitars if you don't remove them (which is hard). Has been safe on all my guitar finishes, and I have a lot of different guitars...(about 30). I've had one for about a year. Those saying it's too thin, too cheap, not good quality...are just wrong. This is the best mat I've found, and I've tried a bunch of them. And it's cheap. If it's too thin...buy two, they are inexpensive. But it's really not too thin. It's fine. The length is also fine if you are using a neck support, as you should be. In fact, it is longer than the Stewmac and Fender mats. There's really nothing to dislike about this mat, except it currently can't ship into California, which might be because they can't demonstrate their supply chain does not use slave labor...not sure. Must be some regulatory issue...

This work mat is great for working on guitars. It provides a safe space that is soft and won't scratch your guitar. The length works well for both electric and acoustic guitars. And it rolls up nicely for storage. Highly recommended.

Tatsächlich nach dem ich beim großen T mich für günstig entschieden hatte, hab ich ein Upgrade gemacht. Deutlich besser.

This mat works great to support and protect you instruments when you are working on them. It is thick enough that it does not take to much space when you put it away, but it will protect your instrument when using it on the table. The length is good to accommodate you instruments, you can use it for guitar or even bass with no problems. It cleans very easily and it is non slippery so it stays in place when you are using it.
