This is a finely powdered lime that dissolves quickly. I used it to moderate the pH in a couple of raised beds, and it worked as expected.I administered the dosage as recommended on the packaging. It is a very fine powder, so be careful with it. Can be used to treat garden soil and raise pH. Also, I have used it to dehydrate dog droppings. They dry up very quickly, stop smelling, and are easier to dispose of.

I bought this to dust the piles of dog poop along side the roads in our gated community. There are no rules requiring residents to bag their dogs poop and therefore they don't. Dusting the poop really does work.
