This is a very well-made spring-form pan! I've made several cheesecakes and a timballo with this pan and I get great results every time. It is not leak-proof but it is leak resistant. It does not let in a lot of water & so far, none of my cheesecakes have had a soggy crust or even a wet crust. I have had really nice crunchy, cookie-like crusts on every cheesecake I've made. (This replaces a spring-form pan made by a very well-known specialty cooking products manufacturer that leaked like a sieve & this pan beats it in that regard, hands-down. And the cheesecakes have always cooked evenly. I can't fault this pan at all, as I just don't think leak-proof is possible. That said, this pan comes extremely close, and close enough to be perfect.

Perfect 9” pan. Pops open when the buckle is easily undone. Doesn’t pop open unexpectedly. I’ve only baked 3 graham cracker crusts for cheesecakes with one cheesecake needing to go in the oven. Opens easily, don’t use metal utensils on it, pies don’t stick to it. I don’t use spray oil with it and pies/cheesecakes just slide right off. Good item.
