Mijello Studio Watercolor Palette, 55 Paint Wells, Blue, Foam Dauber Included, 14.4" X 1.5" X 9.13", 1

I'm not going to lie, I started crying when I opened up the case and the palette because it was so incredibly gorgeous. The listing definitely doesn't do this item justice. The front is iridescent and it's bigger than I expected, the wells are HUGE. It is so well made and shiny. Mijello is a top tier brand and this is my favorite palettes that they sell. This item in an art store will charge more than twice the price. One of my favorite amazon purchases to date.You can also really tell the difference in quality, even compared to other Mijello palettes. I always wondered, "why bulletproof glass?"I get it now

This palette is a great studio palette for the Mijello Pure pigment set. In this set you get 24 colors but are able to make a total of 55 colors which fit in this palette. It also has a place to use large brushes which many palettes do not and I love that about this palette. Great product Mijello! Keep up the good work!

Expected much better quality. This palette sometimes comes with 2 free paint samples , not advertised but would have been nice. Box and palette slightly damaged. Its OK, size is good but I think its worth half the price I paid for it.

Love the size of the wells -they make for wonderful washes, and the large capacity of paints you can put into it, but I hate that you can’t mix in it without sanding down, or otherwise abrasing the surface. The paint beads terribly.Luckily for me, I hate mixing in my palletes anyways so I mix on porcelain outside the pallete. This setup requires a large about of desk space, as does the pallete itself, so make sure you have a large space to work with whether or not you’re mixing in or outside your pallete.It does stain, but any plastic pallete will.It is very sturdy and thick.Overall I definitely recommend it, but if you want to mix on it, you’ll either have to suffer through the beads (not recommended) or prime the surface.

I happened across this very large Mijello watercolor palette on Amazon and immediately ordered it. What a wonderful thing it is, holding so much paint! I put nearly all my collection of M Graham watercolors in here. The wells are correctly shaped, with a downward slope, so that you can gently put your brush in it to gather paint, instead of grinding away with an expensive sable and ruining the point. The price isdefinitely right on Amazon and I would not hesitate to recommend this palette to any watercolorist who wants a decent palette for home use. It is too large, IMHO, to be taking out to paint en plein air but just perfect for the studio. The palette is very well made, sturdy and closessecurely with no fuss. This will be around for a long time, it is not cheaply made but thoughtfully put together. Thanks Mijello, for making the perfect studio palette and thanks Amazon, for carrying them!!

This palette is awesome! Although 55 paints are not necessary, I wanted a palette that had room for me to grow when I find new fun colors! The palette is very big, not for someone who doesn't have a lot of desk space. The wells hold so much paint! ***Yes, the palette most definitely stains but there are ways to get rid of staining such as rubbing alcohol, rubber eraser, bleach etc.*** I very much enjoy this palette and know I will for a long long time!

I return this item very thin plastic and was overall too big for my needs

As others have said, she’s a big ‘en! Much to the demise of my art teacher, I am a watercolor junkie. She’s taught me color theory and how to max colors, but if I can buy something that looks JUST like terracotta, I will do it and save myself wasting paint AND cussing trying to mix it perfectly. Knowing I can fit *almost* all my paints in this makes me happy! Will it be my mobile pallet? No, way too big, but I’ll enjoy using it in my home studio.It seems very well made, latches well, and lays flat. I’m very happy with my purchase!
