FolkArt Glow-in-the-Dark Acrylic Paint, 2 oz., Red

This works as described.

I read all of the reviews, I knew this was more pink than red and that it was very thin, however the number one thing I needed was the glow and it did not glow at all.The color is definitely pink, however with several coats, when it dried, it does darken up to be closer to red. I used many coats to get the desired look, but even with many coats, there was zero glow. It really needs to go back to the drawing board. It should cover in 2 coats, dry to a red color and of course give off a glow. Don't waste your time.

While it is more of a Pinkish colour, it is still within the Red (or Rouge in this case) colour (Red and White make Pink and Rouge). It coats as well as any other Folklore brand Acrylic Paint, and has a mild glow. Definitely good under Black Light. Very satisfied with the product.

Title says it all; otherwise it does its job ok. Needs to charge up in light to glow properly, otherwise it isn't very bright. Comes off easily when it dries so be aware of that if you need it to light up stuff you're going to touch often.

So I ignored the previous reviews hoping to receive red- glow by black light, fabric paint. What I got was almost neon orange/pink. Yes the bottle says red, and I completely understand dealing with anything "glow" related doesn't guarantee the color to glow identical to its original color, but I was really hoping to capture a true red glow by black light and a blood red by day. I was making blood stains on shirts for Halloween but it probably would have worked better for a pumpkin color with this paint. The brand is outstanding and my shipment arrived on time, it just wasn't what I needed at that particular time. Absolutely nothing against the seller.

Definitely not red. Definitely not bright. Definitely doesn't last long between charges.

When I first used the product it did not resemble blood. Once it dried it looked great and has not faded in the outside elements.

Item arrive in a timely manner but the product itself was useless. To start off with the paint inside the bottle didn't look red at all. It looked like a hot pink but thought it was just the packaging that made the paint look deceptive. Used it on some plastic skeletons. Sure enough started to paint the skeletons and the paint was pink. Thought after it dries it will be different. Not at all, still pink. As for glowing in the dark, also not at all. It has absorbed a full day of sunlight. It has a faint glow but not red or pink. Would not recommend it. Now, I have to buy a different paint to do this all over. What a waste of my time and money. Regret buying it, should have gone with my instinct and returned the item.
