The Straight Girl's Guide to Sleeping with Chicks Paperback – Illustrated, February 1, 2005

When I saw this book, I thought I would enjoy it, but I never would've guessed how much. This book is beautifully written! It has humor tactically blended with factual information. The author did a fantastic job of making this guide easy to read, understand, and, I'll know soon enough, easy to use. I would recommend it for anyone actively interested in sleeping with women, or anyone who just has an open mind on the subject.

It was not only a great read but it was very educational. Even if someone ultimately decides against it, it gives a lot of information about your own body.

This book is fun. It's all about not being hung up on convention, not getting bogged in old values, guilt or any of that. It's straight talking, like a night out with the girls and Ms Sincero has no hesitation in being very frank and explicit to describe and detail what she is saying.For we blokes it helps us understand what might be a fantasy or need in our partners and get a feel for that from a woman's perspective, addressing threesomes, anal, toys and pretty much everything, often made properly relevant by Ms Sincero relaying some of her own personal experiences. Happily Ms Sincero also addresses the emotional issues with care and the respect they deserve. Someone exploring somewhere they don't want to go is equally as damaging and tragic as someone not exploring where they do want to go.It may not be for everyone but Ms Sincero happily lets the reader feel entitled to know what they do or don't want without guilt or pressure and shares her pleasures and celebrates some of her adventures with her readers. Ms Sincero makes me wish I was a woman, she makes `picking up chicks' sound like for a woman it's even more fun than for a man.So girls, read, laugh, maybe learn a little about your own pleasure, enjoy and, who knows? You may even decide you'd like to share what you enjoy with another woman. Happily Ms Sincero also addresses the fact that such things aren't for everyone, allowing for the fact that, no matter how much denial many of us may live in, the most ideal situation for true Loving Caring relationship beauty can be found in the security of exclusivity and a history of trust and track record. However, for those of us who don't have that in our lives and can use our sexuality as a veritable playground if we want, Ms Sincero provides a manual for some good clean guilt free fun. Once upon a time "The Sensuous Woman" taught the importance of women training themselves to understand what they want to better get along with men. The present volume teaches women the value of understanding what women want to better get along with them. It is the same age-old material with an entirely different focus. The hand-drawn anatomical charts and Barbie-Doll models demonstrating Kama-Sutra positions are an artistic plus. This later effort has a light hearted and optimistic approach to the whole "women don't know what they're doing when it comes to sex" mantra but it is still a sex-manual useful for both men and women when it comes to making out with the girls. There are reading and viewing lists with reviews at the end so you get the whole course with an extensive, at-home, on your own time study guide.

I owned this year's ago and someone borrowed it and never gave my copy back!! I bought this on kindle for old times sake and laughed all over again! it's every bit still educational and funny- plus if you have ever emailed jen- she's hilarious and such a sweetheart!!!! hats off Jen!!!

Oh my gosh. This book had me cracking up. I highly recommend this book for straight women whose boyfriends or hubbies are asking to bring another lady into the bedroom with them or for ladies like me who are omnisexual with a huge interest in women but no real practice and want their first encounter with a lady to be awesome and not awkard. It's cleverly written, and very informative. I enjoyed it.

I heard the author spaeaking about this book on the radio last night. She was really cool and candid about everything she has experienced. The book is supposed to be a guide for girls that consider themselves straight. There are a lot af women who may want to have some fun, maybe with more than one person at a time--but there preference is not women( i.e., It is meant for women who are more attracted to men than they are women). Some women who are new to this might not know what to say to another girl..this guide is supposed to help with those odd situations. Oh, and the illustrations are fun and hilarious!

I love the way this author writes. She writes like I’m talking to one of my friends. Very easy to interpret and understand. A must read if you’re feeling curious! She broke it down for you!!! I loved it. Gave tips on what to do and stories from others.

The author is going to tell you things you already know but are ignoring. This book is a quick and light read with plenty of humour and advice.

Sleep has now become so much more enjoyable, so much so that I'm now getting hardly any! - - - -

Perfect for light reading and getting in the mind set, not necessarily hands on. The chapters are filled with anecdotes, which is nice and offer firsr hand advice based on experience (:
