Decent Inflatable Pillow
Due to acid reflux I need to sleep with my head end elevated a bit. Otherwise it ain't pretty. We live N.J.. Part of many folks religion in this state is to spend time at the beach during the summer months. That can mean carrying a load of stuff in your car, suv or some other conveyance usually 50-100 miles to wherever you own rent or borrow a place to stay. You may have to carry a ton of things with you. That makes space a premium in the aforementioned conveyance. So, if you need a wedge pillow of some sort it might take up space that you need for the family dog, youngest kid or mother in law (HMMM). Anyway, I needed to solve the space problem and wanted to solve some of it by eliminating a large folding wedge pillow and replacing it with this pillow. I tested it first at home. Blowing it up I at first used a small air pump. Convenient, but not mandatory. If you are in reasonable health I don't see an issue with blowing it up by mouth. It will take a few minutes but not a big deal. It has a two stage valve. It opens with two snap in covers. Remove both to blow up most of it. Then insert the second one and finish the job. The two valves work slightly differently from each other. No big deal. The second one holds the air in better for the finish of the job. In the end it blew up just fine. Sleeping on it was not an issue. You may want to wrap it with something, your choice. In the end I also found the pillow handy all year round. My original wedge pillow is more comfortable with a second pillow on it. I use this blow up now full time for that purpose. If it lasts a year I'll be fine with it. I suspect it will hang in there for a while.

Life saver...
When travelling not having your bed is always a challenge, position, firmness/softness, pillow, support, etc. and for those of us that have GERD or other incline required conditions, getting the right position can literally mean the difference between resting and not resting at all, <THIS is the reason why I bought this inflatable device. Is it perfect? No...it has an extremely slow air leak, yet not enough to go flat over 10 days of usage (overseas), I am 350lbs. Will it probably work better for those of you who are less heavy? Highly probable and if it did, it would be 5*. Material is good, firm, strong, no noises, no shifting position and works well if you use other pillows above it. It's portable, folds nicely for storage and inflates/deflates easily. Would I recommend it? Yes. Will I continue to travel with it? Yes.

Works great
I bought this for travel. I am supposed to elevate my legs when I sleep and it does the job. Stays inflated my whole 11 day cruise . Easy to deflate and stores easily in the pouch that came with it. I take it in all my trips.

THE LEAKER
LEAKS, LEAKS, LEAKS, Does anyone make one of these blow-up cushions that do not LEAK, LEAK, LEAK? I have had four, and they all LEAK, LEAK, and more LEAK. They start out fully blown up, then in two days they start to loose air, even when no pressure is being put on them. Blow it up and set it on a bed and in two days it starts to flatten and continues to do such. There is no repair kit that comes with it. Perhaps the blow-up valves are defective and once they are inflated, they start to fail. Since for the most part, these products are perceived as needed, therefore there SHOULD be some maker is not putting out a LEAKER. I have given up on this and use a series of pillows to support my client's sleeping style. Not recommended, Hope that helps.

Good, but not great
I suffer from nighttime GERD, which, thanks to our adjustable bed, isn’t much of an issue at home. We travel a few times a year and usually I just ask for extra pillows. I decided I would rather have something like this, that, along with another pillow, raises me enough to keep the GERD away.It does what it’s intended to do. It also deflates easily and is an easy fit back into its original carrying case. However, blowing it up without a pump is super difficult. Then, trying to keep the valve area shut while attempting to insert the closure thingy back in is next to impossible. As a result, it’s never fully aired up. Still, I go to bed with it at least 3/4 full. However, I wake with it 1/2 or less filled. So it isn’t retaining the air well. After a few days, it needs to be refilled. So for a few nights away, it works as intended. Otherwise, be prepared to pump it back up after more than 2-3 nights usage.

Worked great on vacation
Have an adjustable bed at home so sleeping flat is an issue. Used this on vacation under hotel pillows and slept well. Easy to inflate and deflate.
