ERA Face spray makeup (Y3 Butterscotch, 2.25 oz) - airbrush foundation, everyday, buildable, professional spray on cosmetics by Era Beauty

I’m an MUA and this foundation has me very impressed. I’ve only bought my shade and tried it on myself so far. I went on the Era beauty website and they have a match helper. You plug in your brand and shade and it will tell you what shade in this you are. I am in NC 30 in Mac and it told me I am Wheat Y5. It is a perfect match. So next I’ll tell you I am almost 50, have large pores, some fine lines and a few sunspots. This really makes me look even and FLAWLESS. And it lasts ALL day and controls the shine on my nose. I was shocked I went to the dentist today and water sprayed all over my face and my foundation still looked perfect. How I put it on is I prime my face, then I use concealer under my eyes and on my spots. I don’t completely blend it into my skin I leave it sitting a little thick on those areas. Then I shake the can and spray on the back of my hand and I use an Elf airbrush brush and stipple in a downward motion. I spray one or two more times and go over areas until it looks like even coverage on the entire face. Let it settle a moment then use a sheer setting powder either clear or in your shade. I did try spraying this on my face and you can then blend it in but it’s too much product on your face if you do it that way. That’s just my opinion. Then once you do that you can go in with sculpting powder and blush and it does not disturb the foundation. So I’ll go on to say I do use professional airbrush with the machine in my work and as I use up my stock I will be replacing it with this. I think it looks nicer! And not having to lug my machine and worry if there’s outlets close will be so nice!

Great product with great coverage. However, the sprayer stopped working and the bottle is more than half full. It’s too expensive for that to happen and it’s past the return date.

I've owned 25+ foundation brands over the years (mid-40s with dry skin) and for this time in my life, this is my absolute favorite when I want full coverage. I seriously always get compliments when I wear this foundation. The Y7 is perfect for my medium brown skin. A MUA introduced me to the product several years ago and I've bought it 2x over that time. I can't imagine you'd really get the coverage you want if you spray it directly on your face. I use a wet BeautyBlender so I can see how much has gone on the sponge, then apply it and blend. It blends nicely and then creates a matte but not dry look and, with moisturizer underneath, will still show a nice little glow so you don't look all caked up. I read a recommendation awhile back to store it on its back rather than standing up to preserve its life a little more, so that's what I do. I really really recommend this foundation for its coverage, finish, and feel. And y7 just so happens to be perfect, but the produce has a very small range of colors.

I bought this product because a make up artist had used it on me during an event. It’s wonderful coverage. However, after aprox a month, the sprayer clogs up then it doesn’t work correctly or just stops. I thought it was maybe the supply given to Amazon to sell, but when I ordered straight from the company, it did the same thing. As much as I love this product, I can’t afford to use them due to the defect in the can and sprayer. This company needs to invest in another type spray can for their product.

This is a great product if you want your make up to look very natural.

This has been the best foundation for me for the past few years. Though keep things in consideration: - If you can, find it at a beauty store where they have samples to match you with a color. There are yellow based (Y) and red based (R) colors. It's important to get the best color for your skin. - Shake it a lot!!! Especially in the beginning. Anyone who says this foundation doesn't work well just didn't shake it long enough. - The main way to use it is to actually spray it on your face - but I don't do this anymore. I shake it well and spray it into my hand and put it on with my fingers. Sometimes I'll mix it with my lotion. Doing this works really well for me, especially over a primer. And you can use whatever is left in your hand to go over any spots that need concealing (under eyes, blemishes, etc). - Yes, it is pricey but one bottle of this has lasted me about 8 months (using the method of spraying into my hands instead of directly on my face). Well worth the price!

This makeup would get 5 stars for the coverage, staying power and color....but now i can't use it because the can doesn't spray. It's as though it has no air to push the makeup through, so my full can is now rendered useless to me as I cannot get the makeup out. Incredibly disappointed that this makeup is expensive, and now I can't even use it!

When applied properly short Z strokes with nozzle do NOT hold nozzle continuously down but off and on Z pattern across face. Let dry for a minute and then powder puff lightly up and in needed area to smooth together. I suggest using hair cap it keeps overspray off my hair. Once applied and buffed and blended it does not sweat off or come off on clothes pillowcases etc… but comes off with any make up remover. set with your final powder. I use dermablend. Tap on the white powder lightly and just let stand. White will disappear and give matte finish. This has been used in Hollywood on different sets and stars since early 2000’s. Once I used back then I was hooked. No need for big bulky machines and mixing colors etc etc…Just find your right shade take 2 minutes and get an airbrush look daily.
