Good boar brush for the money
I've bought these a few different times and I'll buy them again. Good product and good value. I bought them in 38/9 and also .22 cal (for 22LR and .223/.556). Good brand and honestly I've read reviews of people experiencing a lot of lead fouling and having a tough time getting it out. These bronze bore brushes work really well. I you are using a plastic bore brush, you should consider these instead. If you are using plastic because you are worried about boar damage, consider that your rounds are copper plated and designed to go through at high pressure, heat and speed. When I clean, I start by adding a generous amount of breakfree CLP to the bore brush, run it through letting the boar brush following the rifling (you can do this by not attaching your brush fully tight to the rod if you rod handles doesn't have a swivvel already built in - just be careful not to leave it too loose so you don't have it detach in the barrel), on the next pass add some more CLP and do this a few times. Then I let all this sit until I've cleaned everything else. The last step is pushing patches through to clean it up. Works great every time. My typcial round count before cleaning is under 400, so that may also be contributing to lower fouling.

Fits great and priced affordably to allow the most thorough cleaning of firearms!
You know what I dislike? Copper fouling, lead fouling, and powder fouling. It damages your barrel and makes your accuracy decrease, and if you don't clean your firearm thoroughly it will permanently pit your barrel. When I clean my handgun barrels, these brushes are disposable, yes you heard me disposable. They get gritty, and as you pass them through your barrel they shrink in diameter. Aggressive, ammonia-based copper solvents eat at the bronze brushes and they become brittle, being able to use a new brush after every few patch sweeps helps you ensure all traces of that nasty powder/lead/copper grit is blasted away from your barrel. These brushes can range anywhere from $2 to 4$ for one brush in stores but for 1.75 each you can afford to use fresh brushes every time you clean your firearm. I love that! These brushes have held up to having cloth patches wrapped around them as I pass through the barrel, and they have held up to some of the copper solvents I use. I've had a good experience so far and will continue to buy my brushes here and save my money for more important things.

Use as needed and then reuse
I like to use these 3-5 times as they are or until the bristles are bent and no longer fit tight.. Then I use them wrapped in a patch another half dozen times with solvent. That is really effective and gets maximum use out of each brush.

Tipton Handgun Bronze Bore Brush
Great for cleaning the residue out of the barrel from some of today's dirtier ammunition.

Quality made, right temper of the brushes.
No scratching on metal or inside the barrel. These are quality brushes and better than many of the name brands that come with "cleaning sets". Removed all signs of debris after 200 rounds with one brush and it showed no sign of wear. I am well pleased and if they wear out I will be back for more!

Nice quality, right size
I needed new brushes for a small .32 revolver with a very small Cylinder window. I wanted the next level quality brushes from Tipton but they were too long to push completely through the barrel without hitting the back of the cylinder window. These were perfect and still seem to be very good quality brushes. They worked great and appear very durable. Recommended.

Not a bad brush, but it seems to be wearing down ...
Not a bad brush, but it seems to be wearing down faster than the one I replaced. Also, there are no calibre markings on them so be careful not to mix them up.

Works for cleaning a Tok
Works well for 7.62 x 25 Tokarev. Couldn’t find a short .30 cal pistol brush so I tried these.
