Krusteaz Hawaiian Sweet No Knead Bread Mix, 16 oz

Love this stuff, now my favorite bread other than fresh baked from a bakery. Highly recommend.

The Krusteaz Hawaiian Sweet bread mix makes a very delicious bread. Easy to make and it is so good.

Once again Amazon delivered quickly and well packed with other items. This bread does not taste like the wrapped Hawaiian bread or rolls I have gotten in the grocery stores. Not as sweet compared with the grocery store bread, but still nicely sweet which I do like. The texture is more like a cake rather than bread texture. My husband doesn't like it, but I do for something different. I may reorder, but don't think it is something I may "crave". Try it, you may like it.

This was a good bread but it wasn’t worth buying a second time. For one thing, the whole “no knead” but stir until a dough forms means you’re kneading an extremely gooey dough. I used a spatula-spoon and pretty much kneaded it in the bowl until the gluten formed. It took about 10 minutes and my arm was killing me. Maybe I could have his stirred it around but it wasn’t a dough and the directions said dough.The other issue is the time factor. I’m not sure who is in charge of their marketing but to say it’s ready in about an hour is a complete contradiction to their own directions on the back. 2 hours to let it rise, 40 minutes of additional rest, 25 minutes of baking. That’s 3 hours and doesn’t include all the hands on it requires.At the end you’re left with one small loaf that is cooked as a blob. When I make a quick bread (like banana or zucchini) I don’t mind it making one loaf, it takes 15 minutes to prep and that’s it but when it’s going to take 3+ hours, I expect to have at least 2 loaves to show for it.

easy to use perfect for my bread machine

I own a bread machine and I have been experimenting with many different recipes. I have found some very good ones and my family always loves my bread. So when I saw this, I wondered if it would be any different. -And the answer is YES! It is slightly sweet, dense and satisfying. I didn't even use my bread machine as this mix is no knead and it was super easy without using it! I will still make bread in my machine, but this is now going to be a staple in my cabinet!

A+ on taste and the concept of the product.But, as I see others have noted, the bread did not rise properly (and I followed directions to the 'T'). Rose only to about 1.5-2 inches. Either the instructions are not written properly (as in oven temperature) or one of the ingredients has gone bad. Despite my bread 'loaf' turning out more like hawaiian bars, people still loved it.

First time making bread and it was so easy and turned out great. If your looking for the famous sweet bread like at the grocery store this is not it. Now don't get me wrong it's good , and I found it even better the next day. It is sweet but almost like a cake sweet taste. I ate it with some steak and gravy then put some jelly on it and wow so good.
