I bought this fire resistant balaclava to use with a pair of auto dimming welding goggles for mig welding in tight spaces. Miller sells a purpose built system that is similar for several hundred dollars, but this inexpensive balaclava paired with an inexpensive pair of auto-dim welding goggles from Princess Auto does the same thing for a fraction of the cost. If you weld in tight spaces and don't want to get welder burn on your face by just using the goggles, this is a good solution.
