I used to wear Kaepa tennis shoes and really came to love how you can get a better fit around the ankle and heel by splitting the laces into two per shoe.These are my first high top shoes in a long time. I am a fan of boots where they have those hooks for the laces once you get past the curve of your foot, but obviously these shoes do not have that. Pity, because they are pretty comfortable.Anyway so after struggling to get these on and off without undoing the laces, I remembered my old Kaepas. I grabbed some cording and worked out how much I needed for each set of laces.32" on the bottom set, or perhaps 31". It's easy to see that these laces are a bit too long for the bottom but the top ones, which I thought would also be too long, are just right.I have ordered some shrink to fit aglets so when they arrive I can easily shorten the bottom ones.This makes high tops much easier to get on and off without the use of a shoe horn or breaking down the backs.I also like how I can do sort of an ombre look with the coordinating laces.There's a good selection of colors here so when these ones wear out I can put new ones in. They seem to be pretty standard laces. They have a small amount of stretch so when you put them in, you may find yourself needing to tighten them up after a day or two as they will stretch a bit.

I have always purchased oval laces because they seemed to do a better job of staying tied without being double-tied. This time, however, I couldn't find a (1) multipack in (2) 39" for my New Balance shoes (5 eyelets) in (3) oval so I reluctantly went with the flats. Boy, was I surprised! They stayed tied for the whole day while I did all my errands and some heavy-duty gardening and I didn't have to re-tie them ONCE! The colors are as pictured but actually look better in person. I would HIGHLY recommend these laces for whatever length you need!

I purposely bought a pair of shoes with a green body color for Spring, and although I like the laces that came with them, the rust color looks more Fall-ish, which prompted me to order these laces. Now I have a huge variety of laces to choose from, for my green shoes, and my other shoes. I did as they suggested and pulled my original laces out to measure them, so I knew exactly what size to order. The 54" laces are perfect!

I had bought shoes which came with round laces, those would not stay tied. So I found this set of flat laces. There are 40 sets of laces ( most colors I won’t ever use) but it was cheaper to buy these ( I needed four pairs) than buy four individual sets of laces. They look to be good quality, They came in one bag, most tied to psurs, a couple were together but “ loose”. Surprisingly there was no white and I also needed a set of silver so I still had to order the silver ( used red instead of white laces on one pair of sneakers. Nice bright colors . Not too thick or thin, slightly stretchy and fit my shoes.

The colors are so vibrant! You can really spice up your sneaker game with these. So many shades to work with.

Bright and useful in crafts as well as shoes

When I decided the orange laces were just not me in the Gucci (thrifted!!!!!) sneaks it was time to look for another color. OMG here's 40 pairs in this purchase and I think not one color is a dupe. And is that not a great price for all those laces? I wanted a bit longer so I got the 57" and they're perfect for the 7 hole sneaker. Went with the off-white in the sneakers for now to match the background color but will be changing up again and again and again. Very pleased and recommend!!
