Grenade Carb Killa High Protein and Low Sugar Candy Bar, 12 Count (Pack of 1)

This is very, very tasty. You can’t tell it’s a protein bar at all. Tastes like a candy bar but without so much sugar and loaded with protein.

I am an extremely busy woman who works 10 to 14 hours per day & although I am not necessarily trying to lose weight, I like to have easy meals I can eat on the go when needed. I try to be diligent about packing my lunch for work the night before, but I am human so sometimes I get tired & lazy & it just doesn't happen (& I rush so much in the morning I don't have time to make lunch) so these protein bars are perfect for me & my lifestyle. I don't eat protein bars daily, but I love having a box of these on hand for when I need that quick, grab-&-go lunch & it's so much better for me than stopping to get fast food. These are conveniently individually wrapped so you can grab one and toss it in your purse, backpack, pocket, whatever. Believe it or not, one bar is actually filling. I've tried other protein bars in the past that weren't filling at all and I was hungry again 30 minutes later - that is NOT the case with these. Furthermore, these actually have a pleasant taste that isn't overly sweet! It has just enough sweetness to it to give you that feeling of eating a sweet treat but it isn't too much or overwhelming. To me, the flavor is like vanilla mixed with white chocolate but minus the intense sweetness of chocolate. The bars aren't chalky or too dry & have a nice chewy consistency to them. If you are looking for a protein bar that actually has a pleasant flavor & is filling, then I definitely recommend these.

I usually don't eat a lot of protein bars but figured I would try these because my brother and a friend like this brand and let me tell you that these are addicting. Some protein bars that I've had have been hard to chew and swallow and just difficult to eat because they tasted bad but not these ones. These are definitely one of the better tasting protein bars I've tried and I'm usually not even a big fan of White Chocolate which is what these ones are that I got. They were fresh, soft, and easy to swallow. Each bar has 220 calories, 21g of carbs with 6g fiber, and 22g of protein. I really like these bars and am glad I gave them a try because they are right up at the top of my list for best protein bars I've had to date. If you're looking for a good snack to fit into your diet then I highly recommend these. Now I just need to try ALL the other flavors to see how they stack up against this one.

These are the tastiest protein bars I have tasted so far. They are not dry and hard like other protein bars on the market. I've tried Alani Nu and Quest Bars (plus others brands) and these by far taste the best. I bought the variety pack to try out all the flavors and all of them tasted very delicious. Like a candy bar. The box that it came in was a bit damaged, maybe from transit? But the bars were fine.For those who are interested to know about taste/flavorMy favorites were:Dark Chocolate Raspberry: Tastes just like the flavor name. Dark chocolate and raspberries.Peanut nutter: Tastes like chocolate and peanut butter. Kind of like a Little Debbie Nutty Bar.Salted Peanut: White chocolate. This one tasted like a softer version of a PayDay bar.Chocolate Chip Salted Caramel: I didn't notice any chocolate chip but it did have caramel in it. Tastes like salted caramel.My least favorite:Caramel chaos: had no caramel and it tasted like a chocolate protein bar just not as dry as the usual protein bars you get. Really confused on the name and flavor. If I had purchased this flavor alone instead of the variety pack, I would have been disappointed.Chocolate chip cookie dough: tasted like cookie dough (you wouldn't be able to tell the flavor without reading the name) with some bits and pieces of chocolate chips. Not bad but I personally wouldn't go out of my way to purchase this flavor.I would repurchase the variety pack again since I really enjoyed 4/6 of the flavors. Do read the instructions on the box regarding ingredients, allergies, and storage conditions.EDIT:So I'm finishing up the rest of the bars and I noticed that the last caramel chaos bar is completely different from the first bar I tried from the pack. The first bar was completely chocolate inside with no caramel and the last bar had a very thin layer of caramel on top with a peanut butter like filling with bits and pieces of chocolate chip. Did they mispackage some bars into the wrong wrapper?? Were any of these bars the actual caramel chaos because neither of them tasted anything like caramel.Finished my second box and I have come to the conclusion that some of these bars are PACKAGED INCORRECTLY. Caramel Chaos and Salted Caramel have been different bars... Caramel Chaos has been packaged with a Salted Caramel bar, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bar, a plain chocolate bar, and an unknown one (which I'm guessing may be the real identity). The last Salted Caramel bar I had was a plain chocolate one, similar to the first Caramel Chaos bar I had. No caramel, just chocolate like a Tootsie Roll. The bars are delicious but I'm not really happy to find my bars being packaged incorrectly.

I can't say enough good things about this protein bar! These saved me during a four day convention when I had limited access to food -- and definitely not healthy stuff. They are very tasty and have only 2 net carbs. I follow a (less strict) ketogenic lifestyle and always have protein bars on hand for backup sustenance, or those days when I'm low on protein. While I'm not a fan of the price, it's pretty standard for what they are and clearly I think they are worth the money as I keep buying them. These are hands down my favorite protein bars. They taste way better than Quest bars (I've tried a handful of flavors) and the Costco brand ones. Plus, they are lower net carbs than either, which is a huge bonus for keto. If they were just a little cheaper I would eat one every day, and so would my husband!
