Excellent 2nd flush from a lauded premium company. Super fast shipping. The 2nd flush has the sought after characteristic of muscatel flavour & was reasonably fresh.

This is one of those tea experiences that can't be replaced. One of my friends introduced me to this tea and I'm hooked for good. Glad it's also available in NYC. Every sip is refreshing and aroma is fulfilling.

I had first tasted what was Castleton Muscatel Darjeeling Tea in Darjeeling 15th Nov 2020 (see picture) on 1 Robertson Road near Sonar Bangla Restaurant Hotel the road that leads to the Mall, and the aroma haunted me, lingering in my memory like a delightful dream. Good product n prompt delivery

Taste is usually consistent across different cans. So, that is comforting since every batch tastes different. So, I am assuming this box is usually a blend of different batches from the same plantation and season. At this price , this is the best tasting Darjeeling tea for me. I have tried those long leaf premium ones. They taste fine but not as good as this one. This one has golden brown hue with fruity muscatel flavour that isn't too over powering.

I prefer a bolder flavor and aroma

This tea hardly smells like Muscatel, in fact it smells more like grass. I was quite disappointed with the flavour as well. The leaves look OK and it does make a clean cup. It is refreshing, but not tasty.
