I love this product works well on my curly hair, takes away my frizz and adds shine that looks natural.

The back of my natural, African-American hair crown, looks too short as I style it daily. So, I squirted this bottle of hair stretcher one time, and massaged this thick lotion into my thick hair - mostly in the back. Yeah, it's more expensive than the similar, Dark N Lovely hair elongator that works well. But it smells better, and goes a long way in keeping my back hair permanently stretched down my nape. This stuff has now absorbed and dried into my hair, and my hair stays stretched down - not bunched up (smile)! I look like I've paid for a professional ladies' hair cut, since my hair looks so well-groomed. It may or may not not grow longer, as I'll continue to use this stuff and other products on my unpermed, manageable tresses. But I'm not obsessed anymore with growing more hair! My hair looks good and healthier, as I manage it with no more perms, no more beauticians, and no more damaging, heat straightening!

I’m still trying to figure out if I like this or not The smell is nice and it’s very thick. Thick products usually don’t penetrate my hair. But I gave it a try. I have 3C/4A hair. I put my leave in on in the shower. This went on kind of weird. It didn’t seem like it penetrated my hair. Even when applying my gel I really thought it was gonna flake. Surprisingly I got a good wash n go. My hair had nice shine, no flakes, no residue. It mixed well with my Miele Organics gel. My hair feels very moisturized. I don’t see where it elongated my hair but I did get a good result. It’s the application of the product that I don’t like. I’ll try and thin it out with a little water. But I will continue to use it. A little goes a long way also.

Smells pretty good. It's not sticky which is great. Seems good for moisturizing but not so much for shine or the look of hydration. It's probably best used in combination with at least one other product. It leaves hair soft but I didn't notice any of the results listed on the bottle.

It is thick and almost greasy but not. Does the job of keeping my frizz under control

My formerly 2b/c hair has turned into 3b/c and nothing I tried could tame the frizz. I tried foaming mousses, serums, Frizz-ease, leave-in conditioners. After a day, my hair would return to its frizzy glory. But this! The thickness of it gave life back into my hair, so much that I started receiving compliments on how it looked. The hold is soft, lasts all day. On the days following hair washing day, I wet my hair, section off and apply. The curls are manageable and soft. Finally! I’ve gone thru so many products… happy to find this at last!

I am 4b-4c natural for well over 20 years.I was very excited to see this item from Lotta Body with a good price point. Smells good and feels like leave in conditioner with a little styling gel, meaning it's sort of sticky and moisturizing to the touch.Sadly, this product residue sits on the surface of your hair making it look white, ashy and dull looking.The hold is light to moderate, and hair begins to frizz within a few hours.The only way I can use this product up is for a twist-out that I don't really care about. Meaning, I have no place to go, maybe to the grocery store and errands. But not for a twist out for work or for an outing where I care about my hair holding up.The style you get out of it will only last 1 day at best. If you try to re-style or re-twist, the product build-up is noticeable and you need to apply more product to get the frizziness in order.Unfortunately, this product is a waste of time for 4b-4c hair textures.
