I bought this as a travel rocker to take the place of a nursing rocker for my infant daughter, and I’m very happy with it. The height is actually much better/lower than our permanent rocker in my daughter’s nursery, so my 4’11” wife loves it. It rocks smoothly and folds up easily and is very sturdy feeling. It has good support and does exactly what we needed it to do as we take our girl on the road and need a good rocking to get her to sleep. So glad I bought this!

The kickback rocker is pretty comfy, it takes some breaking in for the hydraulics to rock smoothly and easily. I like the chair overall for how well made and thick the legs are, easy to fold up, and set up. The legs are secured together with a thin strap and peg and carry with the wide strap. It isn't heavy at all. No storage bag to drape over and eventually throw away. What you see is what you transport and use. I sat in sand, grass, shallow beach water and dusted off and moved. The family kept stealing my chair, and kids loved it.My hubs is 5'8 and 190#. He can definitely nap in the chair by slouching a little LOL. I am 5'4 and weigh 165# and wear a 12. My butt still had an inch or 2 of space sitting down on either side of hips and wasn't feeling crowded. The seat height is low enough that my short legs to fully flatten feet to ground and rock, but not too low to have hard time to get up. I like the soft arm rests. The back rest is a too low to sit up straight and lay head back and rock.I will order a 2nd kickback in the larger model chair with plastic handles and a higher back. I have back issues and sat comfortably in this kickback Rocker. I put my feet up on a stool and sat oitside fishing or reading on and off for a full week camping. I think this model of chair is made for smaller to average height and weight people. It would probably break the hydralics over time with tall/large people who are heavier than about 220#. Some bad reviews indicate it broke quickly use, but that probably not completely the chair's fault. If you have a big/tall build and weigh more you will find it too small and feel crowded and squished in the kickback. I suggest to size up to the bigger, beefier version of this rocker and enjoy the rock.

My husband & I attended an outdoor concert, when my friend who had walked his dog, told me about people he had seen with these chairs. My hubby & I had just discussed getting new chairs (ours are over 25+ years old and starting to tear, dry rot etc.), when our friend was telling us about these rockers. Lo & behold when I looked up and there were about 1/2 dozen people with these exact ones! I ordered the kick back chairs as the glider looked as if it really needed a flat level surface. Well, these ROCK! ;) I'm 5'10" 170lbs & my husband is 5'11" 310 lbs. I fit just fine with room to spare. The hubby has a tighter fit (didn't realize it's only rated for 250 lbs until AFTER I made the purchase), but says he's still quite comfortable. We really like the strap and the clip to keep the chair folded while carrying it, is sturdy. These are a little heavier than the older camping chairs, but the strap to carry it over the shoulder is high quality and has real good weight distribution, so it's not awkward or difficult to carry. I really like how there's NOT a sleeve that I have to finagle to get the chair inside! We bought the used-like new from the Amazon warehouse. They looked brand-new! VERY HAPPY with this purchase! Definitely worth the extra $$ to upgrade to a rocker! I'm getting ready to purchase a couple more! VERY GOOD QUALITY! We've already used them a couple of times without any issues! I'll edit my rating in the future if needed.
