Great Economical Hip Kit!
I'm an Occupational Therapist who frequently purchases adaptive equipment to teach my clients to be independent in their daily lives. This hip kit has everything needed for someone who has difficulty bending or dressing their lower body. All in all I'd say that this product is perfect for the economically conscious buyer. The items included in the kit are as follows: The reacher that is supplied is perfect for multiple tasks. If you have trouble or lack the balance to bend to pick items out of the floor, or have difficult reaching for items in cabinets or washing machine, then this item is great. It assists in dressing pants and allows those with disabilities to dress themselves independently. This items also has a magnet on the end which is suitable for picking up dropped utensils, paper clips, pins, etc. The sock aid is made of sturdy material and does the job great. Note if you have an extra wide foot or you have to purchase extra wide shoes, this sock aid is not for you. The long handled sponge and shoe horn do exactly as they were intended. Both are made sturdy and doesn't feel as though they will break with average intended use.

Love the sock jockey
Love the sock jockey, it works great. Wish I would have had one years ago. My wife doesn't have to put my socks on now. That little help is amazing. I also like the grabber, it will pick up a can of soup or a small piece of paper. Don't like the brush. It is just a sponge on the end of a plastic rod. I use it to wash the toilet. I only wear slip on shoes so I don't need the shoe horn. I should have looked into buying the sock jockey and grabber separately. Could have saved a couple bucks.

Hip, hip… (just) OK
Had a total hip replacement last week, and this kit was recommended by the therapists at the hospital. So far, I’ve only found the grabber to be useful—but it’s been VERY useful. The sock putter-onner is too big to work with any of my socks, the handle on the sponge bends too easily to work well, and I never mastered even a regular shoehorn, so my inability to use that is probably on me. If I had it to do over, I’d just buy a grabber and a sponge or scrubber with a long WOODEN handle.

Hip surgery gear
Considering what these items cost at a pharmacy, this is a great deal. The FabLife devises have come in very handy while my wife is recovering from Hip surgery. She is still using the grabber ( reacher ) and the shoe horn. The sock putting on devise has become me rather than the one provided. She felt the sponge on a stick was not really usable. Just getting the grabber was enough to justify the purchase. If you need these items the price is good and it took very little time to get them.

Great product for hip replacement patients
If you have a posterior hip replacement your movements are more restricted. All the tools in the kit are helpful but the product for putting on your sock is fabulous!
