Galison Life Before Social Media 1000 Piece Puzzle, Multicolor

Only issue is the pieces weren't fully cut.

I have done a ton of puzzles since the pandemic started and this is definitely one of my favorites. Honestly, I wasn't crazy about the image, but doing the puzzle is great. It's gots some pretty easy sections to build a base with and then some much more challenging sections. The colors do not seem as bright as in the listing, but it is still great. I took a star off for sturdiness because a couple of pieces were a bit bent.

I wish they made this same puzzle in 500 or 750 pieces. Because the exact same colors repeat throughout, the sections that are very similar became VERY difficult to solve (and felt laborious and not enjoyable)

PROSAesthetically speaking, this is a fantastic puzzle. The bright colors make it more fun to put together plus it’s comical.CONSI am missing one piece which seems to be pretty common based on the reviews. I knew this was a possibility when I ordered, but it looked fun so I took a gamble. I don’t understand how so many of the puzzles are missing one piece and they appear to all be different.I have put together puzzles from multiple different companies and the quality of the puzzle pieces for this puzzle are noticeably lower quality. The edges peel very easily when you pull a piece out if it’s in the wrong place and the puzzle shapes are limited compared to other puzzles.Overall, I enjoyed doing it and will put it together again. It’s not a bad price but just expect a piece to be missing going in.

This is a well made puzzle and fairly easy to complete due to multiple vignettes. The big words were the worst, but still doable. Pieces are a good thickness and it fits tightly together. That’s a good thing when putting together, but slows you down a little when taking apart. Still a plus overall. Buy it when pricing is good.

The only issue was that a decent amount of the pieces were still connected by incomplete cuts through the back layer. Was able to get most apart but some needed a little glue to keep from fraying or getting damaged.

...I agree with a previous Reviewer, it’s a bright puzzle, moderately hard to put together. But when I was finished it was missing a piece pictured above. I hate when you spend so much time on a puzzle and it not be complete. I do a lot of puzzles and this is the second one in about three years that has had a piece missing coming from the manufacturer.

Love this puzzle! Super fun to put together. Just challenging enough.... visually exciting & bright! I might even frame it and use it as wall art.
