OXO Good Grips Cookie Press Holiday Disk Set, Metallic

First time I used it, I was in love! It’s super easy to use. Definitely follow the directions by not greasing the pan. Also, wipe off any residual grease on the pan between batches. This will allow the dough to stick to the pan and release from the cookie press. Clean up was a breeze.

They are really cute but I had to buy a new press and these discs were part of the new press! Now I have backup discs!

For 45 years I have struggled with making Spritz cookies, never had a decent press. I absolutely hated making them, but they are my husbands favorite so every year I'd get frustrated and complain the whole baking process. My last one wasn't too bad, it ran on batteries, but I broke it last year and couldn't get the part replaced. So, my daughter told me about this one. I ordered it plus the extra holiday discs. Oh, my goodness, it was the first time I actually enjoyed making these cookies. So far, I have made 5 and ½ batches, and no complaints, I am done for this year, I think. So happy to find this.

Being Christmas cookie shapes, haven’t used them yet, but they fit my cookie gun perfectly.

I have so many mixed feelings about these, unfortunately. Normally I love OXO stuff. Half my kitchen is OXO. Unfortunately, I had problems with these discs. The Santa and snowflake would not stick to the pan at all. I got the Santa disc to work 2 times out of an entire tube of dough. I was able to get zero snowflakes. The star, bow, and snowman gave me less issues. I didn't try to use the joy one. Yeah, I'd buy them again, and when you get them to work, they're cute. It could just be the recipe I'm using, but I have so many less issues with the discs that came with the OXO cookie press.

Good quality. Parts are fairly easy to clean.

Love these, and love the cookie press I bought them for. Had I realized the press came with disks, some of which were Christmas themed, I probably wouldn't have bought this pack, but as it is, the snowflake in this set is prettier/bigger/more detailed than the one included with the cookie press, so I'm still very pleased with it.
