Yes the wipes pocket is elasticated to get them in and out easily and you can open your wipes easily too

Yes. It folds together and attaches with Velcro. The fastening is quite solid so don’t need to worry about it falling open.

Can you pin baby's arms down with the side flaps when changing?

Why on Earth would you want to ‘pin’ your baby’s arms down?? I do hope this is a joke.

Some reviewers mentioned they put their mats in the wash. I have one too, what setting did you use on the machine?

Really? Hardly a boil wash. Just put it on 15 minutes rapid wash. On a separate note, I reckon the washing machine will wreck this yolk.
