Great replacement for my Dell labtop power supply. It replaced the original equipment that was 10 years old. Works great and charged the battery.

Works perfectly fine. Where the cord sits in the port is a little loose, but not enough for it to fall out and it does the job. Happy with the purchase.

This is a perfect match for my Dell G5 laptop battery charger. My old, original, broke the outer shield as it enters the lighted noise suppressor exposing the wires inside. This works just like new.

My computer was beginning to bottom out because the charger I had wasn’t doing what it needed to do. That charger is now in the electronics recycling bin. I purchased this charger which matches my Dell and it’s back to life again. What a relief! No more concerns about buying a new computer at this time. If you are in the same situation, I recommend you buy this charger.

The unit functioned fine out of the box. However, this adapter has a serious flaw. One end of the adapter has a socket containing three pins. The cord that connects to the laptop also connects to this socket.The three pins in the socket are easily pushed back into the body of the adapter by the plug and become misaligned. Once they are misaligned, they no longer provide a charge to the laptop. Their alignment cannot be repaired without opening the adapter. The adapter is a sealed electrical unit, so I did not attempt a repair.If you leave the plug permanently attached to the power adapter, you should not experience a problem. However if you need to plug the cord into the adapter on occasion (like more than 10 times), be VERY careful with aligning the plug to the pins in the adapter, or the plug will end up pushing the pins into the adaptor, rendering it unable to make an electrical connection and thus unable to charge your laptop.

the original charger started to disconnect and was not able to charger my laptop anymore, so i got this and it has been working perfectly for a while now, it looks exactly like the original one and charges the laptop fast. and cables are thick enough that i think it would last until the end of this laptop life.
