I bought the bass popper set and have fished it all summer. WOW! Exceeded all my expectations.At first glance the quality of these poppers is not comparable to Orvis or Umpqua or other high end fly manufacturers. You can see that they were put together quickly and cheaply. The color combinations are all pretty wonky looking. The dimples on the front popper end are very shallow or non-existant, so they don't produce the nice "plop" that you get from other poppers. The hooks are not very sharp but the size is perfect. I put a few in my box as backup for when I run out of my "nice" poppers.So one day I was out fishing and I broke off my last good popper and tied one of these on. Woudn't you know it, the fish love these just as much if not more! I think the subtle pop and the extra long rubber legs are the magic combination. You can also make the small and medium sizes swim like subsurface divers and this seems to be the action that draws in bass. I have caught lots of nice bass and panfish on these this summer. When you have to retire a fly because it's all chewed to hell and back by fish that's when you know you have an all-time classic. This kit is a great way to stock up on poppers, especially if you are not the best caster or fish around a lot of snaggy cover.Note: you definitely want to get a hook sharpener to make the most of these. And flatten down those barbs!

I generally do not give negative reviews unless something really is not good and these poppers are really not good. The paint is terribly applied, flakes off VERY quickly and they hardly pop or chug. The flies will roll over upside down much of the time, pointing the hook side to the sky on either a 5wt or an 8wt, 0x to 4x. Spend your money on something else... I wish I did. I have tried them of course and are now used, so at the moment I am not sure that I can get a refund with a return or not. The case they come in are also nothing special.

These are very cheaply made flys they even include two needles to remove paint from overspray on the hook eyelets - fancy! Seriously you are getting what you pay for and they may well work fine out on the water - Ill update when I get a chance to test these out.

First to say love the personal little note that I got from them not many companies do it but it kind of lets you know they care. My overall look the poppers are pretty decent I got the 26 piece and they threw a couple of little extra gifts in there if you can actually really see. They look like they're made of styrofoam but other than that they look pretty decent. They even had a couple needles to punch holes in the eyes of the hooks.

The case is great, but I was so disappointed in the popper quality. They only floated for a couple of casts, and they fell apart with a single panfish strike. However, it was so much cheaper than similar items that I should have expected it. I still had fun, and I can reuse the case for better flies/poppers.

I was surprised of how well these poppers turned out, caught plenty of fish at the local freshwater lake, they have a good range in size, and the case is higher quality than expected. I am happy with my purchase!

Wow! Just wow! Great quality flys. It took a few weeks to arrive but was well worth the wait. I can’t wait to get these babies wet! They even sent a hand written note thanking me for my purchase. That kind of appreciation just doesn’t exist anymore. I will absolutely be buying more and recommending these to other fisherman.
