An enjoyable trip through a classic collection of esoteric knowledge. Great insight!

Having slogged through Hall’s dense work several times, Horowitz set off positive bells regarding what I read and didn’t always understand when reading Hall. There are lots of refs to other works that compliment the opus. It’s an easy, lively read.

This is the perfect companion to the big book.

I've been enjoying Mitch Horowitz's works the past few years, and this is another great one, exploring Manly P. Hall's life and prolific writings. It focuses on esoteric ideas rather than New Thought, so a lot of information was new to me. It's compiled from a series of lectures, so it's not as polished as Mitch's primary books like "One Simple Idea" or "The Miracle Club," but that doesn't detract much.After finishing, I ordered the reader's edition of Hall's "Secret Teachings" (edited by Mitch), and also Hall's "Lectures on Ancient Philosophy." So this introduction accomplished its goal in whetting my appetite for more.

Fascinating, I learned a great deal of information. If you're a seeker, you'll love this book.

A nice introduction to Manly’s great book with modern updates. I enjoyed it as it was easy to follow . It appears that the author was speaking ( as in a lecture ) to an audience.
