Python No Spill Clean and Fill Aquarium Gravel Tube Hose Extension, 10-Feet

This is a great system over hauling water. It has a good, long hose and was an easy to learn process. Easy to clean, too. A fine niche product! Turned a half-hour risky mess (carrying buckets of water thru the house) into a ten minute painless task.

I used this to add to my 50 ft regular python kit and it just fits at my new home (I have to run it from a far bathroom sink, through the laundry room, through kitchen and around through living room and it was just enough. Great product, great price, very durable

We purchased the original Python NoSpill cleaning system and all we can say is that this system makes cleaning your fish tank easy, simple and best of all clean! No more sloshing around water, carrying water to and from a sink and overall just making a mess. This systems allows you to keep it between your sink and the tank which is where any water and mess should be. With that said, we decided we needed a little more wiggle room in the hose for our 25' NoSpill system so we picked up this extra 10'. We were stretched to max with the 25' feet so the 10' allows us to get around things a little easily to and from the sink. Anyhow, if you have a fish tank you want this cleaning system and do not buy just enough length. Go with extra few feet!

I am writing this review to let you know that this extension will provide all sorts of nightmares UNLESS you take one simple easy step to prevent it. When I read that some recommended plumber's tape, I asked my maintenance man husband to help me with it and his response was simple. He took apart the Python and this extension kit and said, "The problem is that the washer is made from terrible stuff. It needs to be rubber" We tried the extension as it is, because I explained what would happen. He is one to experiment and find out through observation and study, so we tried it out. When suddenly as he moved around the room we ended up with geysers, he believed me that it could be THAT BAD. We went to the store, purchased a bag of rubber garden hose washers which were RUBBER and then put them in place of the awful black washers, and instead of water geysers, we have had no problems since. We have had to make such changes with water purifiers and various other household devices in the past, so this one is just another in the list. This piping is nice, does not bend or tangle easily and once the washers were replaced, it has been a great investment. Plumbers tape would make it a bit more permanent. We prefer to change the washers every few years if necessary. I gave this four stars due to the price and not being supplied with GOOD WASHERS to begin with.

No substitute for the Python water changer. This is piece of equipment is truly indispensable if you’re keeping a large aquarium. The 10-foot extender hooked onto my 25 foot Python perfectly, no noticeable loss of suction. It’s really nice and convenient to have the option of adding on an extender like this, I’m very happy with my purchase.

I have two tanks a 125 gallon 6 ft long tank and a 29 gallon in two separate rooms in my house. This made water changes amazingly simple and doable. I ordered this when I bought the 125 gallon as it would take me 30 minutes plus to do the gravel cleaning and water change on the 29 gallon. I couldn't even imagine how long that would take running back and forth from the sink to the tank for the 125. When it first arrived I found the 25ft length to be just a bit too short so I had to order the addition 10 ft section. The adapter also did not fit the very small outlet for my bathroom sink so I got a conversion kit from home depot to make it work. Now everything is fine and smooth to operate on tank maintenence day. My 13 year old son can even manage!

simple to use , no leaks

Doesn't leak, and very easy to connect to your existing system. Its also better than purchasing a 75ft system and then having to roll up the extra 15ft if you only need 60ft for example. Would recommend!

Attached easily, no leaks, great quality.

We have a 195 litre tank and couldn't manage watershed without the python,only issue is there's no guard on the end to stop fish getting sucked into tube,so a lemon string bag used with elastic band to keep in place stops us losing fish.
