No more spoiled fruit or vegetables, ever!
These bags are amazing. I recently had to completely change my diet because of prediabetes and it includes a ton of fresh fruit and vegetables. I live alone, and it's hard to buy small amounts - these foods have always gone bad before I had a chance to finish them. These bags fix all that. I have used them for apples, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, salad greens, celery, fresh herbs like parsley, carrots, and much more. Everything has stayed fresh for one and even two weeks without wilting or spoiling. The first picture is an apple that I cut 2 weeks ago, then again last week. It's still crisp and hasn't even gone brown. The blueberries are from two weeks ago and they're still plump and fresh - they haven't gone mushy and there's no mold. The parsley is over a week old and it's still fresh. These bags really do work and I couldn't eat the way I do without them. The only thing I tried that wasn't successful was bananas and I noticed there were quite a few reviews that said the same. I know some people have had success with bananas, but it didn't work for me. I primarily freeze them for smoothies, so I don't mind leaving them on the counter. These are totally worth it for everything else. This pack had three different sizes, but the large are way too large for me and I would probably never use the medium either. Next time I'll just order the small ones - they work for everything.

Perfect to make foods last longer
I use these bags for so many things. And I get them every year for my sister. She uses more in a year than I do by far. She eats more salads, though, than I do. And she cooks more than I do. But they are great for keeping your veggies and fruits fresher longer than anything else. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to save money on buying foods more often. And I don’t know anyone these days who doesn’t want that! They are extremely durable and are reusable. You can purchase different sizes or just one size. A perfect option!

Excellent Product
These Bags Work!! I’ve been using these bags for many years and I never throw vegetables away. Never. I use them for all vegetables and for bananas. Three sizes accommodate anything. A true money saver.

Really work well!
These are the only bags keeping my vegetables fresh. Now that the grocery stores carry the new compostable bags, they seem to suck the moisture out of my food. As soon as I get home, I transfer my veggies to the greenbags and they stay fresh. Thank you!

Amazed
12 days in & I'm hooked. I go to produce every week & still get spoiled items. Too many on a fixed income but fresh produce is important to skip each day. I bought my norm and am still stunned. 2 heads of iceberg lettuce, 2 because I wanted to test the bags and as of today the last of the lettuce on day 12 was still crisp. No slimy outside to peel away wasting half a head over a few days. Fresh bananas are usually inedible by day 5. I even tried the tin foil on the stems thing but still throw away too many bananas. The bananas wre still perfect on day 10. A few brown spots on the skin but the inside was perfect. Sodt & firm. Same result with nectarines, peaches, green peppers, cucs & tomatoes. I'm excited about tomatoes because I only buy 4 a trip so I don't waste em. 11 days before a soft spot. Granted a few were not quite ripe but after 2 days on the window sill, they went in a bag. I kept avouding em because I wanted to see how long they'd last. ☆☆☆☆These cost 19.99 for 30 bags and each bag is reusable up to 10 time. Rinse with hot water(no soap) and air dry. I figure if you can use them 2x you've already saved enough in produce but they're good for 10. Only minor thing is veggies with a high water content such as lettuce and peppers have accumulated water in the bag. I was on the website and saw a hack for that. Just put a paper towel in each bag. Just fold your bags over and dont overpack em & don'tstack em. The gasses can't escape the bag if they're on top of each other. A medium held 6 peaches. Maybe 2 sheets for lettuce and such. Just put in a new towel if its damp when you open the bag. Accumulated water will rot the veggies. Verdict, I'm hooked and it takes alot to surprise me but these did. 20 bucks got me enough bags for years( somewhere around 6yrs) & I figure I used to throw away at least $5 each trip. That $5 will now be goung in my grandaughters acct. 20 bucks doesn't seem alot but it ads up. Its $240 a year. Sounds like a bargain to me. I think I'm gonna try going to produce every 10 days and see how I make out. Sorry if I sounded like a infomercial but I wanted to give a real person review. don't buy the knockoffs. I had no success with 2 brand b4 I gave in and ordered these.

Works and works well
#1-They work. You do need to wash and dry your veggies and fruit prior to storing as it does make a difference. Do not mix them in a bag, peppers should be with peppers, cukes with cukes, etc. I first used these back in 2009-2010 when I bought them from BBB as I got a weekly share of the harvest from a CSA and I had to do something with the tons of fresh items I was getting aside from giving some away. I bought these hoping they would work and boy did they. I had a huge head of romaine lettuce that lasted for over 3 weeks in the bag in my veggie bin. Now all the food I got was freshly picked so that does make a difference with how long they last because you never know how long the produce has been in a warehouse and on a truck prior to reaching the grocery store but they still help. If you can buy from a farmers market even better. I bought a huge pack of baby bok choy and romaine hearts from Costco and was hoping they work as I'm single and I hate tossing out food. It's been over 2 weeks and they are still fresh in the bin. I was happy to find them again since BBB closed their stores w/a door. Worth the price. I paid $9.99 on sale at BBB in 2009.

I have been re-using the GreenBags I got in the US for about 10 years in Australia. They keep my lettuce and cilantro fresh for many days, but they were getting worn out. I needed new ones and found them on Amazon. Terrific! I'll be back for more . . . in a few years.

I have used her products for many years and I believe these are what they say they are! I’m vegetarian and I consume a lot of vegetables, so these keep them fresh and juicy! When I bring my veggies home from the store, I wash them in vinegar and let them sit for a bit in the vinegar solution then drain the water and let them sit in the sink until most of the moisture falls off and then I bag them in these bags or her containers (I use both!) and my veggies last for weeks! Friends always comment on how delicious my salads are and I attribute this to my fresh, juicy vegetables because of Debbie’s product! Thank you!
