It's working well
The media could not be loaded. This drive is working well in this adapter. I bought these two items because someone had already done a test quite a good while ago with this combination, but nothing to show how much speed it could give to an old system requiring an ide drive. So, I wanted to experiment cheaply. I already had an adapter to plug in to my faster system so that I could connect these up and clone the hdd I had in an old Dell 2650 laptop to these items here. I mean an old computer likely isn't using to the full potential of this adapter and drive, but there was still a HUGE benefit. Windows XP loads up super fast and if it wasn't for the CPU being a P4, I feel doing anything with this combination would be awesome. Definitely a gig of ram would be nice on fit in this laptop, but it's not one of the versions of 2650 that allows it sadly. Maybe, eventually, that will change somehow. So, I could say that having a not so cheaply done up old laptop can get some really good life back in it. All in all, between the both of these by the way, I think I spent 25 dollars maybe?

Installed as Boot Drive in a Dell Vostro 3460
I have a Dell Vostro 3460 with a msata slot. So i installed the 128gb in the msata slot and booted to BIOS. The BIOS recognized the drive. Got to windows and it did not show up either in File Manager or Disk Manager. I scratched my head for a bit and then tried DISKPART. It was there. I CLEAN the msata drive and formatted the msata drive. Rebooted back to windows. Still no Joy. When back to DISKPART. This time I turned on AUTOMOUNT for the msata drive. Powered down. I disconnected the HHD and booted from a Windows 21H1 install USB, Build the System, Booted into the new image on the msata drive. All was great. I the reinstalled the HHD and reformatted it. The msata drive is now the boot drive and the HHD is for data.As an aside, when the HHD was not installed Windows showed battery time of just under 4 hr.

Good for my use case
I decided to upgrade my old iBook G4’s drive as it started show signs of failure; I would have to hit it on the side for the head to kickstart.Once I got this installed with an IDE to mSATA adapter, it recognized it and I was able to get both OS X Tiger and Leopard. Let me tel you that opening applications and even some light web browsing has improved in performance on my end. Obviously everyone’s experience will be different, but this was mine. I am super satisfied.

Great Value!
Used this in a mini PC that's running my test PBX. Runs excellent. Not going to lie, I was a little standoffish because I had never heard of the brand before, but I've been running it for quite a while now with absolutely zero issues. Would definitely buy again.
