Quality as usual from cold steel
Cold steel rarely goes wrong and hasn't let me down with this one either. Sharp, sturdy, the sheath works great both behind the waist on a belt or from the included leather loops. Handle is very comfy and the balance allows for very fast and accurate slashes. Comes with a light coating of oil already on the blade and is a great size for a secondary blade.

EXCELLENT!
I have a number of Cold Steel products.This is a good piece of steel with quality fittings.The BLADE could use 2mm more thickness to be a TREMENDOUS DEFENSE WEAPON.

Apperance
End pommel is a bit askew, but tight. Excellent, and I use extra cord on sheath to secure blade.Would have looked better with rivets securing straps reversed. Also blade installs upside down, most likely due to the fact sheath has no leather spacer where laced together. Overall very nice.

Lower quality than expected.The blade is nice, though
The media could not be loaded. Well, having a pommel connected by a screw is not historically correct at all for the time period of this knife and it was not even on straight the blade is nice. The leather straps that come with it. We're dried out and started ripping and crackingJust by fooling with it the sheath, it's nice. But on his opinion, not very happy. The handle ain't even straight.The more I look, the more I see things that you're just messed up.

Nice, but for the screw.
A nice rendition of an upper class saex. Workmanship is very nice and taken as a whole, it's very attractive. The sax is light for itssize and somewhat nose heavy.One serious drawback the this is that the thing is held together with a flathead screw. Seriously? Right in the most conspicuous place on the knife. The balance suggests a thin tang as well.

Great knife
This is as much a short sword as a knife. Arrives quite sharp. You will need to reduce the amount of preservative on the blade before inserting into the sheath. As with the numerous other Cold Steel products I have, the quality is top notch.
