perfect battery for an older camera
The Kastar NP-F570 Battery is an excellent replacement or backup for your camera or camcorder. It holds a solid charge and lasts through extended shooting sessions, making it perfect for long days of filming or photography. The battery fits snugly into devices that use the NP-F570 model, and I’ve had no issues with compatibility. It also charges relatively quickly and performs just as well as the original, all at a more affordable price. If you're looking for a reliable and cost-effective power solution, this battery is a great choice!

Good for Atomos Shinobi II
Works well and has a decent battery life when paired to a Atomos Shinobi II monitor. I was able to record a 3 hour real estate shoot with one charge.

1+ Years of use so far.
NP - F550Great for energy output vs size. I primarily use them for portable LCD Monitors and 300 LED film lights. They are an alternative to several electronics that I use that opt for this battery or 6 AA batteries. They have a decent charge time, usually around an hour for short use and 4 hours + to get a full days use from them.I purchased them a year ago and they still work and hold a good charge.Pros:- Many film and portable items have the capability to use this type of battery, most Sony camcorders or cinema cameras, portable LCD Monitors and LED panels- Inexpensive, and an overnight charge lasts very long depending on your product and output.Cons:- Purchased a few, one fell about 4 feet, and broke in two, superglued it, worked for about a week but has since died after. Plastic bodied, high density batteries, falls can take them out easily.- Battery power can be very tricky as there is no accurate way to meter or gauge a full charge. Due to universal application and third party companies making their devices accept this type of battery it may die faster on some items and last longer on others.OVERALL - They have lasted me for a year +. Very reliable for cost and being a third party item. Drop was a fault of mine, and I cannot take points away from inaccurate readings from non sony and off - brand adapters.Would recommend.

Good enough for my use.
Let me be clear, there are plenty enough horror stories on the Internet about how you can ruin a good camcorder with bad batteries. These stories are real, and companies like Sony have taken to putting special chips in their batteries to keep people from using them. Not only does this lock the customer into buying overpriced battery replacements, it also saves Sony some money from doing warranty repairs because that cheap battery wasn't made to Sony's specifications. While YOU would never call in a warranty on an item you'd knowingly damaged, there are people that would, and warranty repairs cost money. Some replacement batteries are very high quality. Others are not. How do you know which is which? Trial and error is a little like Russian roulette with your camcorder. Tons of research is almost more trouble than it is worth, especially with 'plant' reviews. However, if there is no brand name on the battery or it is labeled Sony when you know it isn't, I wouldn't trust it out the gate. The batteries I received had no brand markings on them. So no, I don't trust them. That said, I bought them to go in my LED light. For that, they are working wonderfully and I have no complaints. They are rechargeable and cheaper than AAs if I get 2 full uses out of them. I do not KNOW that they are not good enough for a camcorder, but I would not try it. They work fine for my light though, and neither one has failed me.

Exactly what we needed
The original battery on our 25+ year old camcorder no longer functioned (no surprise) and this fit perfectly. It loads relatively quickly and holds as long as the earlier battery did. And the price didn't make me cringe, either. Very satisfied.

Best value for your buck.
Our company deals with a lot of discontinued electronics, including old camcorders and cameras, and finding a replacement battery is not always simple. Kastar batteries have become our go-to company for these batteries. Besides the fact that they are affordable, they work as intended. We always like to be sure the battery we send with our pre-owned camcorders is viable, and Kastar batteries make that possible. Best of all, they are brand new and will hold the charge as intended, with no ambient loss of power as you may get with older / used batteries. These batteries help keep our costs low and have never let us down. We proudly endorse this brand and would recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable replacement for their camera or camcorder.

Works fine, but needed to be sanded down to fit
I'll have to update later about longevity, but it seems to work fine. The only problem is that, compared to the OEM Sony NP-F330 it replaces (Pictured on the right), it is ever so slightly too thick. Less than a millimeter, but if your device goes all the way around the battery for a friction fit (as pictured) then you may need sandpaper to make it fit. The battery's case is thick enough for sanding not to be a problem but you shouldn't need to in the first place.I'm using it in a Sony MVC-FD73, which is a model that throws the "For InfoLITHIUM Battery Only" error on some cheap third party batteries. This battery works fine with no errors, though.

Definitely worth it
I have been wanting to see my baby videos for about 10 years now and the camera that my mom had battery no longer worked we even bought a charger for the battery thinking it was dead but it still didn’t work after being charged overnight cut to two years later I thought about wanting to see my baby videos and finally thought about buying a new battery, this battery works and it is definitely worth the buy, the pricing is great you will not be disappointed!
