Yes as long as the backpack is not overloaded a water bottle fits. My 16 year old daughter uses this bag for school.

Q: how does the cable it comes with work? I’ve inserted it but not sure if it’s right or what I do with it?

Put the larger part in the holder in the pocket then attach the portable charger to the other end. Close the pocket then use a usb charger to your phone through the outside but :)

i’m afraid there isn’t. at least it doesn’t come with the bag
