Ready-made all original Italian. Pizza sauce better then most brands available in india. Price is high. But worth it.

Excellent tomato puree, and of Italian origin. I have used it to thicken broths and curries and to add flavour to stirfrys and dry vegetable fries. I have also used it in a vegetable-high upma made with vermicelli. I can imagine it on pizzas, pasta, etc, though I haven't tried that yet. Must report effect on dry potato palak fry: excellent. Does not contain seeds, so the oxalate content is low. Can't recommend this enough, especially since I haven't found a competitor worth the trouble.

Great taste and makes life easy, without a doubt. However, the product package states that the paste should be consumed within 3 days from opening - and that's a bummer because there is no way we can use the entire tube in 3 days!!!Some folks on the internet suggest putting saran wrap on the opening before placing the tube cap to extend its life. Not sure if it works, and food quality/spoilage is something I choose not to mess around with.

I have made pasta sauce with this a couple of times and the quality is pretty good for th price. Sure its not San Marzano tomatoes but somewhat close to it. One caveat - it seems to be lacking natural sweetness so add a bit of sugar to balance out the tart taste.
