I have been having issues with "unstable Internet signal" and dropped Zoom calls. The device is attractive enough and easy to install. I configured it to my modem, expecting to have Smooth signals going forward -- but Zoom calls continued to get dropped and internet signal remained unstable.I called Tech Support -- waiting on the phone for 45 minutes to use the additional warranty I purchase for help with installation and to resolve tech issues, but the rep had no knowledge of the product. He said he couldn't even reach the manufacturer -- one based in China and which only has email support.He said he couldn't even get a hold of the company to see if they could offer tech support, So the manufacturer contracted with this company for tech support but then never provided any instructions of material for tech support -- and then made itself impossible to get a hold of -- even by tech support, so no support was possible.When I tried to return the product, Amazon offered an opportunity to help resolve the issue, which is good, but per the numerous online reviews that mirror my own experience and given that I installed the device correctly and it still didn't work and given the apparent misrepresentations surrounding the product's warranty and tech support available, I decided to return it. Caveat emptor.

12/30/2020 UPDATE: WOWOW! Customer service is phenomenal! I contacted them and they are sending a new one to me! Unexpected and very happy.12/28/2020 UPDATE: we’ve had this for 2 months and now after various resets it has been losing connections especially the 2g link. Have contacted seller... fingers crossed!I’ll be honest I didn’t expect much as we’ve tried others. Straight out of the box the device itself felt light but I plugged it in hit the wps button and voila, connection. We then did a speed test. Others we tried we got at best 5.8mbps with this... drum roll please....a whopping 18.6mbps! My husband and I were stunned! It really works to boost the signal and our Wi-Fi is running the best it has in over 20 years! Wow, wow. Wow!! 🌟

Super easy to setup. Had it fully setup and working in less than 5 mins.I initially got this because I just installed outdoor security cameras and the wifi was weak where the cameras were installed, therefore the cameras did not work.Now cameras are working perfectly! This will definitely take care of your dead zone! Definitely worth the price!

The WIFI extender did not improve the WIFI reception . I followed the instructions. I placed it in the area where I needed to improve my WIFI reception the signal was very low then I moved it half way between the router and the TV signal showed strong, but it did not help the reception.

No improvement over Spectrum Router, unfortunately I returned since it did not solve my problem.

Needed a stronger WiFi signal in our living room to keep Netflix from having to reload every 10 mins. This extender got the job done. We can now watch Netflix with no problems in the other side of the house farthest from the router. Would recommend. Easy setup as well.

Spent half a day trying to install this Chinese junk with subpar directions.When you finally get this device to connect to your router, either by the WPS button or by phone, your signal is unencrypted so anyone can connect to it.Turning on encryption results in NO internet when connected, even after you join with your password. From that point on, even changing it back won't bring back the internet; you must reset the whole device.The signal LED won't work unless the device is in WISP mode, per the directions. When you change to WISP mode and try to select your own router's 2g/5g connections to configure, nothing happens when you click on them; they are completely dead. However, clicking on every other device in the neighborhood opens the configuration screen...just never the links from your own synched router. So the device remains in AP mode. I saw others had this issue as well, so I know its not my router.Tried to connect to a computer via LAN, with no encryption, but the Ethernet connection could not be validated; so that was unusable as well.No videos for this product online, no product help online...just a complete waste of time resetting this device over and over again. Returning same day. I replaced this with a Linksys extender from Best Buy and it was working within minutes.

Bought this because the signals was dropping mostly in my PlayStation connections so far its holding up with a strong signal grandson says he see's no lag as he is the gamer in the house
